Full Stack Engineer – Website & Marketing Technology (Storyblok / Next.js)
Job Description
Key Skills Required
Master these to land this role
Want to know if you're a match for this job?
WorkMotion is building the infrastructure that lets companies hire, onboard, and pay people anywhere in the world and is on its way to becoming Europe’s #1 Employer of Record provider. Our website is one of the first things a prospect meets, and right now, we're rebuilding it from the ground up: moving off WordPress/Elementor onto a modern headless stack (Storyblok + Next.js).
More Than a Role
We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to own that rebuild and then own the website after it ships. This isn't a 'hand it to an agency and forget it' role. You'll be the technical backbone of our marketing website and the tracking and measurement layer that sits underneath it. If you like living where clean engineering meets marketing performance, this is your seat.
You'll sit inside the Marketing team and work closely with design, demand generation, and our external agency partners.
Where Responsibility Meets Real Opportunity
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Lead the migration from WordPress/Elementor to a headless architecture on Storyblok + Next.js: content modeling, component structure, migration of existing pages and content, and clean cut-over with no SEO regressions.
- Build and maintain the new website: reusable components, page templates, and a design system in code that marketers can work with confidently through Storyblok's visual editor.
- Own the marketing technology layer: design and maintain server-side tracking, build and manage our GTM setup (client and server-side containers), the data layer, and conversion tracking across the funnel.
- Keep us fast and findable: Core Web Vitals, technical SEO foundations, structured data, and performance budgets that hold up as the site grows.
- Handle consent and compliance correctly: integrate our consent management platform and make sure tracking respects GDPR/ePrivacy from day one, not as an afterthought.
- Integrate the stack: connect the website to our marketing and CRM tooling (e.g., HubSpot) and other systems via APIs.
- Partner with people, not just repos: translate marketing goals into technical solutions, and work alongside our design and agency partners through launch and beyond.
Not Your Typical Team…
You will join a team of 7 highly talented Marketing minds who are as obsessed with growth as they are with creating memes. We’re a young, motivated, and fully distributed crew that proves 'remote' doesn't mean 'disconnected.'
We don't just 'work' together; we create together. Whether we’re sharing the weirdest corners of the internet in our #watercooler channel or pushing the boundaries of our strategy in our weekly Thursday Think Tank, we value collective brainpower and high-energy collaboration. If you're looking for a place where your wildest creative ideas are actually encouraged (and then tested against the data), you'll fit right in.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
Must-haves
- Strong full stack engineering: Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, with a solid grasp of headless/JAMstack architecture.
- Deep, hands-on headless CMS experience (ideally with Storyblok, alternatively Contentful or Sanity) and real WordPress experience — you genuinely know both worlds and can bridge them during a migration.
- Server-side tracking expertise — server-side GTM, data layer design, and reliable conversion tracking in a cookie-constrained, privacy-first environment.
- GTM mastery — tags, triggers, variables, and server containers, plus a working understanding of GA4 and consent/CMP integration.
- Technical SEO and web performance fundamentals — you know why a migration can quietly tank rankings and how to prevent it.
- Comfort working with APIs and integrating third-party marketing/CRM tools.
Bonus Points If You Bring
- Experience running a WordPress-to-headless migration end to end.
- Familiarity with Vercel (or similar), CI/CD, and modern deployment workflows.
- A background in B2B SaaS, and an understanding of how a marketing website actually drives pipeline.
- Experience building design systems or component libraries that non-engineers can use safely.
