Oddin is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer proficient in TypeScript/React front-end and Golang backend, with AI-driven coding as their primary workflow. You’ll develop products for partner integrations and the underlying systems.
How we build — AI first:
- Since Q2, 80–90% of our code is generated with AI, forming the core of our development process, not a pilot.
- We hire AI enthusiasts, not converts. You must already be fluent in agentic coding tools and understand their limitations.
- You’ll help advance AI adoption and establish team-wide best practices.
- With code now cheap to produce, the focus shifts to review and verification, requiring senior-level judgment.
What you’ll work on:
- Deliver end-to-end functionality across TypeScript/React front-end and Golang backend.
- Build products for partner integrations into their platforms.
- Develop and maintain our wallet system, prioritizing correctness.
- Design and operate game systems in a certified, audited environment.
- Create APIs (GraphQL, gRPC, REST) for internal and partner integrations.
- Shape the architecture of a young AWS-based platform.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced startup environment with autonomy and minimal bureaucracy.
- Share knowledge and mentor teammates, either onsite in Prague or remotely within the European time zone.
Required Skills:
- Daily experience shipping production code using AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor). Provide examples of past AI-assisted projects.
- Passion for driving AI adoption across engineering teams.
- 5+ years of experience building production software, with depth in one stack and solid cross-stack competence.
- TypeScript/React or Golang expertise. Open to engineers strong in Java, Kotlin, or C# transitioning to Golang.
- Strong grasp of event-driven distributed systems and concurrency.
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Redis, DynamoDB) databases.
- Familiarity with GraphQL/gRPC API design patterns.
- Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Pragmatic testing approach.
- Bonus: Experience with third-party widgets/SDKs or real-money systems.
- Bonus: Knowledge of Kafka, Terraform, or Docker.
