Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Freelance Marketing Designer to sit at the intersection of web design, digital publishing, and brand identity. This is a role for a self-directed creative who can take a brief and run with it, producing everything from high-impact web graphics to technical print collateral. You will play a vital role in maintaining the visual excellence of the brand while directly managing the publication of content across our digital ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Digital Visual Asset Creation: Design web graphics, video thumbnails, iconography, and illustrations for the website and social media while adhering strictly to brand guidelines.
- Website & Digital Publishing: Build and format webpages from wireframes, publish blog posts in WordPress, and manage the organization of digital assets within the CMS.
- Print & Trade Show Materials: Design production-ready brochures, banners, signage, and business cards, ensuring all files meet vendor specifications for color profiles and bleed.
- Asset Management: Source and edit imagery for email and social channels, and create visual diagrams to explain complex product concepts.
- End-to-End Production: Export production-ready files in all required formats (JPG, PNG, PDF, Vector) and manage the workflow from initial brief to final publication.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with expert-level proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proven experience publishing and managing assets within WordPress.
- The ability to build a high-quality webpage directly from a wireframe.
- A diverse portfolio demonstrating excellence in both digital and print design.
- Experience working effectively within remote teams.
- Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to solve problems and execute tasks without heavy oversight.
- Clear communication skills with a proactive approach to flagging risks or project delays.
Nice-to-Haves
- Working knowledge of AI prompting and AI-assisted design workflows (e.g., Claude) to accelerate production.
- Proficiency in Figma and HubSpot.
- Basic video editing skills for social media (e.g., Descript).
- Experience in the AV, video production, or B2B technology industries.
- Background in content marketing and social media strategy.
