Freelance Frontend Developer (Middle+/Senior)

About the Role: Clay is a global design agency building world-class digital products and brands for clients like Meta, Slack, Google, and Amazon. We're looking for a highly motivated Middle+/Senior Frontend Developer to join us remotely on a project basis. Our ideal candidate has strong experience in modern web development and places a strong emphasis on UX and business logic throughout the development process.

What You'll Do

• Build applications using our core stack: React and Next.js.
• Collaborate closely with designers, from creative concepts to finding optimal visual solutions.
• Experiment and develop your own solutions, eagerly learning and taking on new challenges.
• Ensure the highest quality and performance of the final digital product.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience with modern web technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience building applications using React and Next.js.
• Good written English, as we work with international, English-speaking clients.
• Bonus: Strong understanding of UX, Web Accessibility, UI animation principles, and experience building custom UI components or design systems.
