Freelance Farsi Linguistic Tester (Software and AI Content)

Acclaro is currently recruiting 2 Freelance Farsi Linguistic Testers to support an active software localization and AI language-quality project.

This paid, remote freelance opportunity is suitable for candidates with native-level proficiency in Farsi, strong English comprehension, reliable access to a compatible Mac computer, and excellent attention to detail. No previous linguistic-testing experience is required. Selected freelancers will receive project-specific instructions and training before beginning assignments.

You will review localized and AI-generated Farsi content, test software interfaces, and document linguistic and user-interface issues to help deliver accurate and user-friendly software experiences.

Position Overview

• Language Pair: English to Farsi
• Domain: Information Technology, Software localization, and AI-generated Content
• Experience: No previous linguistic testing experience required. Training and guidelines will be provided.
• Contract type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
• Engagement: Paid, project-based assignments. Assignment frequency and volume may vary according to project requirements, client demand, and freelancer availability. Each assignment will be offered separately and is subject to mutual agreement.
• Location: 100% remote from eligible contracting locations
• Equipment: Reliable access to a compatible Mac with an Apple Silicon M-series processor. This is an absolute technical requirement for our secure testing environment.

Responsibilities

As a Freelance Farsi Linguistic Tester, you will:

• Review localized and AI-generated Farsi content for accuracy, fluency, cultural relevance, consistency, and usability.
• Test Farsi software interfaces and identify linguistic, layout, formatting, truncation, and functional issues.
• Document and report linguistic and technical issues clearly in English using project-specific tools and guidelines.
• Follow testing scenarios, terminology, style guides, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Acclaro’s Project Management and linguistic-quality teams and complete accepted assignments within agreed deadlines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following technical, linguistic, and professional criteria:

• Native-level written and spoken proficiency in Farsi.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to understand instructions and write clear bug reports.
• Reliable access throughout the project to a Mac computer with a compatible Apple Silicon M-series processor.
• Strong understanding of contemporary Farsi usage, cultural context, idiomatic language, and linguistic conventions relevant to the project.
• Comfort navigating new software, following detailed instructions, and learning testing workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify linguistic, formatting, and user-interface issues consistently.
• Reliable high-speed internet access and a suitable environment for remote independent work.
• Availability to complete mandatory systems onboarding and project-specific training.

Previous experience in linguistic testing, localization, translation, software testing, or quality assurance is helpful but not required.

Selection is based on demonstrated Farsi proficiency, English communication skills, technical compatibility, assessment results, availability, and project suitability.
