Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Own the architecture of rolling financial models, budget projections, out-of-sample variance analysis, and operational performance reporting across multiple product lines.
- M&A Architecture Support: Run detailed buy-side due diligence, build complex corporate integration models, execute synergy tracking metrics, and deliver quantitative ROI evaluations for potential acquisitions.
- Executive Board Reporting: Partner tightly with accounting controllers to deliver accurate monthly close analyses and translate complex data points into polished, board-ready business summaries.
- KPI Dashboard Engineering: Build and optimize dynamic visibility dashboards, macro sensitivity analyses, and automated reporting systems to track underlying software margins, ARR retention, and operating profit.
- AI-Accelerated Workflow Ingestion: Integrate artificial intelligence software natively inside your daily routines to accelerate data processing, automate spreadsheet formulas, and optimize research velocity.
Required Skills & Qualifications

- Elite, master-level software expertise utilizing Microsoft Excel to manage complex data structures, multi-layered lookups, and financial scenario rules.
- Innate comfort navigating dense numerical sets, executing mental calculations, and preserving exceptional attention to detail under tight close timelines.
- Proven capacity to translate abstract operational variables into clear, actionable business insights for both finance and non-finance corporate stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience executing inside fast-moving, high-accountability startup layers with high executive visibility.
- Location Context: 100% remote-first operational framework open to qualified financial analysts permanently residing within the United States or Canada.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience tracking financial performance or constructing pricing strategies inside enterprise SaaS or fintech business models.
- Familiarity leveraging modern cloud business intelligence tools, automated workflow orchestration platforms, or SQL-based data layers to extract internal reporting metrics.
