Financial Controller

About the Role: Sama Talent Group is a global recruitment company specializing in connecting businesses with exceptional talent. We are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Oversee all financial operations, manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, including bookkeepers and accountants.
• Coordinate external audits, liaise with tax advisors, and ensure compliance with international accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role, preferably in recruitment or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Experience with financial management systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
