  • Strong working knowledge of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including processes, documentation, and risks.
  • Knowledge of client due diligence, anti-money laundering requirements, lender requirements, and professional undertakings.
  • Confidence using legal case management systems and technology to manage workflows and maintain records.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to explain legal information straightforwardly.
  • The organisation and attention to detail needed to manage competing priorities while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Sound judgment, including knowing when to escalate concerns or seek guidance.

How You’ll Work

You’ll be professional, reassuring with clients, organised in managing your caseload, and calm when priorities change. Enjoy working collaboratively with the Amity Law team and contributing to a consistent, high-quality client experience.

PEXA (operating at pexa.com.au) is a digital property settlement platform engineered for streamlining and securing property transactions in Australia. Founded to modernize an industry still reliant on outdated paper-based processes, PEXA eliminates manual paperwork, reduces settlement timelines, and minimizes human error through a fully electronic exchange system. Under the hood, the platform integrates blockchain-inspired security protocols, real-time data validation, and automated compliance checks to ensure transactions are legally binding and tamper-proof. This allows conveyancers, lawyers, financial institutions, and property professionals to complete settlements faster, with greater accuracy, and at lower costs. Backed by its status as a publicly listed entity on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX: PXA), PEXA has expanded its offerings beyond core exchange services to include anti-money laundering tools (PEXA Clear) and legal workflow automation (Optima Legal), solidifying its position as a critical infrastructure provider for Australia’s property market.
