The Enterprise Technical Account Manager will own the full customer lifecycle for Cogent Security’s largest accounts, from post-sale kickoff through production deployment, steady-state operations, and expansion. You’ll serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise security teams, ensuring operationalization of Cogent in their environment and delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, including deployment kickoff, go-live, ongoing operations, and renewal.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for enterprise accounts, fostering deep relationships with security leadership, engineering teams, and IT operations.
  • Lead deployment planning and execution, covering data source onboarding, integration validation, stakeholder alignment, and go-live readiness.
  • Help customers operationalize vulnerability management workflows inside Cogent, including asset identification, risk scoring configuration, remediation prioritization, and compliance reporting.
  • Navigate complex security environments across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-prem infrastructure, understanding how scanning tools (Tenable, Qualys, Wiz) integrate with the platform.
  • Identify and drive account expansion opportunities to grow ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and improve net revenue retention.
  • Translate customer feedback and field observations into product improvements by collaborating directly with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Develop repeatable deployment playbooks and onboarding frameworks to accelerate value delivery for future customers.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in vulnerability management, including understanding of CVE workflows, remediation processes, risk prioritization, and enterprise security tracking.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role, such as Technical Account Manager, Technical Customer Success Manager, or Solutions Engineer.
  • Strong technical acumen to discuss scanning infrastructure, cloud environments, API integrations, and data pipelines with customer engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills to build rapport quickly with security engineers, IT Ops, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset across the full account lifecycle, focusing on adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Consultative approach to account management, specializing in a focused book of business rather than high-volume, broad-based support.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in enterprise customer success, particularly in regulated industries like financial services or healthcare.
  • Background at an early-stage company where you helped build or scale a customer success or TAM function.
  • Managed ARR between $1M–$10M+ with net revenue retention above 90%.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and FFIEC and their impact on remediation timelines.
  • Working knowledge of CMDB tooling and asset management in enterprise environments.
