Position Overview

We are seeking highly autonomous, detail-oriented English Voice Recording Contributors to participate in a one-time, localized speech collection project open across diverse urban hubs throughout Indonesia (including Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Medan, and Bali). Operating as an independent contractor within our specialized Audio & Voice division, you will be responsible for recording unscripted, natural conversations to train AI language systems to comprehend variations in pronunciation and environmental acoustic noise. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated corporate data entry loops, template page styling, or repetitive helpline customer response queues, you will operate a decentralized acoustic mapping, speech pattern localization, and data collection laboratory. Partnering implicitly beside global Project Managers, you will respond to everyday conversation prompts without memorizing complex scripts. This position requires an independent gig-worker or language enthusiast who handles tasks fluidly natively using Voice Over, Audio Engineering, and Transcription primitives, possesses a modern smartphone device, and follows audio validation requirements accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Speech Pattern Collection Governance: Record exactly 12 short, high-relevance acoustic audio clips in English, responding conversationally to abstract lifestyle, work, or current event prompts natively utilizing Voice Over baselines.
• Acoustic Environment Tracking: Complete and submit your audio recordings across 5 distinct real-world physical environments (such as busy cafés, transit stations, outdoor areas, shopping centers, and quiet rooms) within a strict 5-day cycle natively deploying Audio Engineering guidelines.
• Unscripted Dialogue Execution: Express authentic, natural verbal communication paths without reading scripts, capturing genuine regional accents and everyday Southeast Asian English dialects.
• Device Capture Optimization: Manage your personal recording equipment, verifying that audio clips are clear of clipping anomalies, microphone distortion, or severe digital dropouts.
• Project Guideline Compliance: Follow explicit logging criteria, technical upload formats, and submission timelines to ensure all audio metrics match core AI dataset prerequisites.
• Asynchronous Manager Communication: Maintain proactive textual contact with your assigned Project Manager via centralized portals to triage upload blockers or clarify prompt rules.
• Audio Metadata Logging: Ensure clear labeling of recording conditions, noise levels, and environmental variables within the data collection app natively leveraging Transcription practices.
• Data Privacy and Verification Safeguards: Complete secure profile setup and secure link validation steps to protect your contributor data profile across our centralized cloud networks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Possess a minimum English language proficiency level of B1 (Intermediate) or equivalent, with absolute comfort speaking naturally on general, everyday topics.
• Hardware and Connection Infrastructure Command: Possession of a modern smartphone or tablet device capable of capturing crisp, clear audio logs, alongside a stable internet connection for uploading data packages.
• Must be aged 18 years or older and permanently based within Southeast Asia (with immediate project openings focused around **Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Medan, and Bali, Indonesia**).
• Outstanding capacity to interpret written instructions precisely and execute short-term programmatic tasks without active supervision.
• Possess a valid, verified payment method to receive digital earnings upon successful completion of all audio validation cycles.
