Backend Engineering Intern
Ideal candidates should have experience with Haskell or a strong desire to learn it, along with some familiarity with SQL. In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate with data analysts to design and build features that attract new customers.
- Develop backend systems for mobile and web frontends, including transaction searches and wire transfers.
- Create admin tools to streamline operations, such as fraud detection and account management.
- Integrate with third-party APIs for tasks like check processing and SWIFT code validation.
Frontend Engineering Intern
Experience with TypeScript is required, and familiarity with React is a plus. You’ll:
- Work on a polished app—our customers, often startups, value clean design. Explore our onboarding experience or read about our date picker implementation.
- Push the boundaries of TypeScript, leveraging its advanced static typing to prevent errors in a financial technology context.
- Contribute to a 650K-line TypeScript codebase with room for growth—optimize features like combobox performance or build entirely new pages.
- Take ownership of the product, collaborating with designers to enhance user experience.
Full-Stack Engineering Intern
Candidates should have experience with Haskell, TypeScript, and SQL. This role combines backend and frontend responsibilities as outlined above.
