The Division Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of retailer divisions and vendor clients using our GlobalWorx platform within the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) ecosystem.
This individual contributor role requires a proactive approach to managing retail field operations and execution directly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building collaborative relationships with retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders while driving platform adoption, supporting client retention, and directly improving distributor service levels and in-stock percentages across all supported retail categories.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a portfolio of Kroger Divisions and vendor accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and main point of contact.
- Conduct regular account reviews and business check-ins to ensure satisfaction and alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify expansion opportunities, support renewals, and manage the annual budget for accounts, including supporting accounts receivable as needed.
- Monitor client activity, proactively identifying risks or opportunities for engagement or upsell.
- Drive platform adoption by providing ongoing support, insights, and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Account Services, IT, Billing and Product) to address technical issues, billing issues, feature requests, or process challenges.
- Ensure successful client onboarding and training, tailored to the unique needs of each customer.
- Track and document all client communications and feedback.
Field Operations & Stakeholder Execution:
- Work closely with retailers at all levels of the operational group to drive Globalworx adoption and usage.
- Generate analytical content, effectively present information, and respond directly to questions from retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.
- Meet with key retailer, distributor, and manufacturer stakeholders to develop or refine plans for projects and step-change service improvements.
- Manage multiple varying-priority projects and initiatives simultaneously, bringing them to a measurable closure.
- Directly execute field operations tasks focused on improving distributor service for retailers at store, district, region, division, and national levels.
