Director of Technical Project Management and Project Delivery

WongDoody, a global creative and tech-driven agency, is seeking a Director of Technical Project Management and Project Delivery to lead a team of 5–10 people in Germany. This role involves managing interdisciplinary teams across frontend, backend, full-stack development, AI engineering, and UI/UX design while delivering complex digital and AI projects for clients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the Technical Project Management Team, ensuring professional and personal development of team members.
• Implement strategies to improve team and delivery performance, providing regular reports.
• Assist in recruitment of new team members and partners.
• Strategically and operationally manage complex development and AI projects, including pitches, presentations, and workshops.
• Analyze new project inquiries and derive recommendations based on feasibility, staffing, efficiency, and potential.
• Lead interdisciplinary teams nationally and internationally, collaborating with WongDoody and Infosys.
• Support the development of AI-driven solutions in collaboration with experts.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the business unit in collaboration with management.

Key Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Technical Project Manager or Delivery Manager in an agency or services environment.
• Proven experience in team leadership and development.
• Strong client relations and consulting experience, along with scaling digital processes.
• Excellent skills in coordinating complex digital, AI, and development projects, including leading interdisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
• Curiosity about new technologies, workflows, and digital trends.
• Advantageous: Experience with CGI, real-time workflows, and MarTech solutions.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and hands-on mindset.
• Flexibility to travel within Germany and internationally for collaboration.
• Fluent German (C1/C2) and good English skills (B2+) are essential.

You will shape the delivery of complex digital and AI projects at scale, building high-performing teams and creating efficient delivery structures to turn ambitious ideas into reliable, high-quality outcomes for clients.
