Opportunity & Impact
As **Director of Pricing**, you will own how pricing works operationally at Redox. Pricing and packaging strategy is set by Product; your role is to translate that strategy into **deal-level guardrails, tools, and decisions** that Sales can use daily. You will lead Redox's **Deal Desk** for bespoke, non-standard deals, working directly with reps and reviewing **Gong call recordings** to understand customer needs and structure the right combination of **platform fee, connection pricing, and transaction pricing** for each deal.
You will also act as the **connective tissue** between the field and Product, surfacing real-time negotiation insights—where reps get stuck, customer pushback occurs, and packaging fails in practice—so Product can refine pricing strategy with **ground-truth data**. This is an **execution and operations role**, not a strategy-design role: you ensure pricing works in practice and provide Product with the **real-world data** to optimize strategy.
Job Responsibilities:
40% — Deal Desk & Execution
Serve as Redox's **Deal Desk** for bespoke, non-standard enterprise deals, reviewing and approving pricing before customer-facing approvals.
Analyze **deal context** from account executives and **Gong call recordings** to identify customer needs and negotiation pressures.
Structure pricing across Redox’s **three commercial levers**—platform fee, connection-based pricing, and transaction-based pricing—within the **Product-set strategy**.
Provide **real-time pricing advice** to reps on structuring responses to discounts, multi-year terms, minimum commitments, ramp schedules, and most-favored-nation clauses.
Collaborate with **Sales leadership, Finance, and Legal** to translate approved pricing into **contract-ready terms**.
25% — Pricing Operations & Governance
Set and enforce **discounting guardrails and approval thresholds** to maintain pricing consistency and margin protection.
Build and maintain **self-serve pricing tools/models** for standard scenarios, reserving **Director-level review** for truly bespoke deals.
Own the **operational workflow and systems** (e.g., **CPQ, Salesforce**) supporting deal pricing approvals.
Maintain **auditable documentation** of current pricing rules, exceptions, and approval paths.
20% — Cross-Functional Collaboration & Insight
Partner with **Product** to translate pricing strategy into **operational guardrails and Deal Desk practices**.
Track **pricing and discounting patterns** across closed deals and feed insights back to Product to inform strategy evolution.
Represent the **voice of Sales and the field** in pricing conversations, highlighting what works, what doesn’t, and where friction exists.
Collaborate with **Finance** to ensure deal pricing aligns with **margin and revenue targets**.
15% — Change Management & Enablement
Lead rollouts of **pricing and packaging changes**, including field readiness, adoption planning, and escalation governance.
Partner with **Sales Enablement** to equip go-to-market teams with tools, guidance, and collateral for new pricing models.
Provide leadership updates on **Deal Desk performance, pricing exceptions, and adoption of new models**.

Redox
View Company ProfileRedox (operating under redoxengine.com) is the premier, enterprise-grade healthcare interoperability pioneer, cloud-native data normalization network, and clinical API architect engineered to operate as the definitive, single-source integration layer for healthcare providers, payers, life science institutions, and digital health applications globally. The company completely eliminates the severe systemic friction of modern medical software deployments—where software developers and health systems lose months of engineering velocity to custom EHR vendor configurations, brittle HL7/FHIR mapping pipelines, complex VPN setups, and fragmented health data exchange standards—by deploying a unified, high-concurrency cloud API platform. Moving far beyond traditional, passive point-to-point interface engines or slow middleware registries, Redox natively unifies bi-directional Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration compatibility with over 55 distinct clinical vendors, in-flight protocol translation (converting HL7, X12, CDA, and custom JSON into standardized FHIR models), automated workflow orchestration, and enterprise-grade cloud developer hubs into a single high-availability data infrastructure. Trusted by over 12,000 connected healthcare organizations and processing billions of patient records annually, the platform empowers scaling digital health solutions to accelerate clinical product launches, achieve absolute data integrity, and minimize hospital integration timelines with production-hardened precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated technical core—backed by over $100 million in growth funding from elite venture institutions like Adams Street Partners, Battery Ventures, and .406 Ventures—natively orchestrates advanced cross-domain routing loops, Zero Trust security controls, and preferred data ingestion linkages alongside major hyper-scalers including AWS, Databricks, and Google Cloud. What sets Redox apart is its uncompromising dedication to replacing ancient healthcare data silos with modern, developer-first API momentum; by bridging the gap between performance-intensive legacy infrastructure and real-time application capabilities, the firm remains the definitive, category-defining cornerstone of global health-tech connectivity and automated clinical insight delivery.
