Position Overview

We are seeking a highly confident, data-first Director of Business Recruiting to lead, mature, and scale our talent acquisition functions supporting Go-To-Market (GTM) and corporate divisions—including Sales, Account Management, Growth Marketing, Partnerships, Supply, Operations, Automation, Finance, and People. Operating as a principal talent advisor, you will build predictive workforce optimization frameworks, elevate our employer brand within highly competitive markets, and guide an elite distributed recruitment squad to drive organizational density and predictable hiring metrics globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Direction: Architect and guide comprehensive talent acquisition pipelines across GTM, Finance, Operations, and HR teams, aligning hiring roadmaps cleanly with macro enterprise growth objectives.
  • Workforce Capacity Modeling: Partner closely alongside executive cross-functional business stakeholders to engineer long-range workforce capacity planning models, compensation structures, and role prioritization matrices.
  • Workflow Telemetry & Metrics Optimization: Own and evolve full-cycle data-driven recruiting workflows; define, track, and report on high-signal metrics such as pipeline health ratios, source effectiveness, hiring efficiency, and time-to-fill analytics.
  • AI-Enabled Innovation: Lead the thoughtful integration and optimization of cutting-edge AI-native automation tools (e.g., automated screening, scheduling, pipeline parsing frameworks) across daily sourcing workflows while protecting a human-centered candidate experience.
  • Team Cultivation & Coaching: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing distributed squad of recruiters, delivering actionable technical coaching to scale sourcing quality and assessment accuracy.
  • Brand Stewardship: Elevate Engine’s employer brand across corporate talent communities, representing the company at core industry events and business-focused talent networks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive professional experience in Talent Acquisition and recruitment operations, with a strong tracking history of leadership responsibility in high-growth startup or corporate fintech environments.
  • Deep background running and scaling full-cycle talent acquisition processes explicitly tailored for high-volume Sales, Marketing, Corporate Operations, and Finance hiring engines.
  • Strong, authoritative data-driven mindset with a proven record of leveraging complex recruiting telemetry to drive strategic behavior changes and executive decision-making.
  • Excellent coaching, stakeholder management, and cross-functional verbal presentation skills.
  • Hands-on operational familiarity navigating modern applicant tracking systems and recruitment CRM platforms such as Ashby, Greenhouse, Metaview, Brighthire, Covey, or Gem.
  • Location Context: 100% remote working infrastructure flexibility open to qualified talent acquisition leaders residing anywhere within the United States (Hybrid-hub models available for localized office access).

What We Offer

  • Base Salary Bracket: $169,100 – $234,000 USD per annum (Final salary packaging is highly competitive and calibrated based on experience, location coordinates, and skills evaluation).
  • Comprehensive executive compensation parameters including robust variable pay (OTE), corporate bonuses, and equitable company stock options.
  • Premium health, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Generous retirement investment matches, parental leave structures, and continuing professional education reimbursements.
  • Flexible work-from-home configurations supported by modern remote workstation tool allowances.
