About Celcuity: Celcuity is a clinical-stage, publicly traded biotechnology pioneer ($CELC) on an ambitious mission to extend the lives of cancer patients through the development of targeted, highly differentiated therapies for multiple solid tumor indications. Founded to engineer a better way to treat the cellular drivers of tumor growth, our lead therapeutic candidate, gedatolisib, is an intravenously administered, potential first-in-class PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway inhibitor entering critical Phase 3 clinical trials for late-stage advanced breast cancer (ABC). Celcuity pairs cutting-edge biological data frameworks with commercial market access excellence to transform clinical innovation into life-saving, globally standardized oncology treatments.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, channel-fluent, and process-oriented Director, National Accounts and Field Reimbursement to support the strategic execution of market access, payer engagement, and field reimbursement plans for our first commercial product in late-stage Breast Cancer. Operating under a full-time remote footprint in the United States (with a geographical preference for candidates located in the Northeast or Southeast regions), this high-leverage leader will report directly to the VP of Market Access. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated data transcription loops, superficial website entries, or basic helpline ticketing, you will operate an active cross-functional commercial validation, payer coverage policy, and institutional value dossier presentation laboratory. Partnering directly beside distributed Medical Affairs, Sales, and Brand Commercial squads, you will lead field-based support models across Commercial plans, Medicare MACs, and state Medicaid programs. This position requires a biotech industry authority with 8+ years of experience (including 5+ years focused within Market Access or Field Reimbursement and 5+ years dedicated strictly inside the Oncology vertical) who guides channel landscapes fluidly natively using Sales Representative, Project Management, and Research primitives, commands deep financial analytics command to clear complex contract business cases, and influences cross-functional outcomes without structural position authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payer Account Governance: Support the VP of Market Access in driving comprehensive relationship roadmaps and strategic coverage initiatives across national and regional payer segments natively utilizing Sales Representative and commercial primitives.
  • Field Reimbursement Instrumentation: Lead post-approval field reimbursement coordination for designated regions, resolving multi-point coverage blocks, provider coding errors, and institutional payment disputes.
  • Sales Alignment & Messaging: Partner close-knit alongside distributed regional sales teams to equip personnel with highly clear, legally compliant payer messaging templates and pricing summaries.
  • Value Dossier Customization: Assist with the development, refinement, and presentation of high-stakes corporate value dossiers, technical slide decks, and clinical reimbursement materials for executive payer reviews natively deploying Research verification methods.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy Synchronization: Act as a strategic conduit between field cells and executive leadership, synthesizing regional payer insights, contract data variables, and competitive intelligence to continuously optimize access plans natively leveraging Project Management frameworks.
  • Financial Business Case Triage: Structure and secure executive-level approvals for contract business cases, applying rigorous financial analytics to evaluate unit margins, cost structures, and channel access dynamics.
  • Market Trend Telemetry Tracking: Monitor account-level timelines and track shifting US pharmaceutical operations trends, regulatory policy updates, and state-level Medicaid criteria to inform commercial strategy.
  • Executive Milestone Management: Coordinate and organize executive-level payer consultation sessions, maintaining tight follow-up pipelines across cross-functional internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Possess a formal B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited university in life sciences, healthcare administration, business, or a matching quantitative discipline.
  • A minimum of 8+ years of progressive professional history operating within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, including 5+ years dedicated specifically inside Market Access, National Accounts, or Field Reimbursement nodes.
  • Mandatory Oncology Domain Command: A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience supporting oncology products, with proven technical literacy managing both intravenous (IV) and oral specialty medications.
  • Deep working understanding of the complex United States healthcare and reimbursement architecture, including commercial insurance plans, Medicare MACs, and state Medicaid networks.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and group communication strengths in English, with an established history presenting rigorous financial business cases to executive committees.
  • Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified biopharma access leaders residing permanently within the United States, with a strong hiring preference for candidates based in the Northeast or Southeast regions.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior platform or launch history acting as an early market access hire within an emerging, small, or hypergrowth biopharmaceutical startup environment.
  • Possess established, active executive relationships with primary national or regional commercial insurance stakeholders and reimbursement policy gatekeepers.
  • Direct operational experience launching novel specialty or companion diagnostic oncology assets under tight commercial timelines.
  • Possess a Masterโ€™s degree or matching advanced scientific or business credential (such as an MBA, MS, or PharmD).

What We Offer

  • Top-Tier US Biopharma Executive Remuneration Matrix: A highly competitive annual base salary scale of $230,000 — $250,000 USD calibrated precisely to your geography and oncology pedigree, augmented by an annual performance incentive bonus and a lucrative new hire equity package.
  • 100% remote workspace infrastructure autonomy within your regional territory, removing physical office commute constraints while empowering cross-functional execution.
  • Category-Defining Commercial Impact: Elite professional landmarks achieved by single-handedly architecting the pricing, access frameworks, and field reimbursement models that deliver a first-in-class cancer therapy to late-stage patients.
  • Comprehensive family health preservation choices, including top-tier Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage networks.
  • Access to a matching 401(k) retirement system, generous Paid Time Off (PTO) structures with paid corporate holidays, premium technical asset provisions, and an inclusive, decider-driven corporate environment that rejects bureaucracy to accelerate medical breakthroughs.
