Director, Mothers & Babies (Remote)

About the Role: GiveDirectly aims to reshape international giving. We are seeking a Director for the "Mothers & Babies" product to lead end-to-end product strategy and execution across multiple countries and partnerships. You will build a program that provides large cash transfers to expectant mothers to improve maternal and newborn outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Set strategy, define hypotheses, and build a crisp product roadmap.
• Design and iterate on program models and recipient experiences, ensuring a high bar for dignity and safeguarding.
• Build scalable delivery and partnership models with health NGOs, facilities, and governments.
• Drive the learning agenda, measurement strategy, and evidence narrative.
• Support fundraising and go-to-market postures while leading cross-functional execution.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role (product, programs, business development, partnerships).
• Experience across software & technology, development research, or humanitarian program delivery.
• Proven leadership and management experience in building high-performing, distributed teams.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Requirement: Must be willing to travel to program sites up to 1X per quarter and overlap with an East Africa timezone by at least 3 hours.

• Base Salary: $101,221 (Kenya) / $128,000 (US) / £87,500 (UK) plus a 15% bonus at target performance.
