About SpecterOps: SpecterOps is an elite, high-growth cybersecurity company built to deliver real-time defensive and offensive intelligence platforms to complex global organizations. We architect advanced security validation systems, automate threat mitigation metrics, and provide demanding corporate structures with deep technical insight into critical vulnerabilities affecting enterprise infrastructure network perimeters. Dedicated to protecting global operational environments from sophisticated state-sponsored threat groups, we foster a remote-first, high-performing corporate culture rooted in craftsmanship, architectural precision, and rigorous execution standards.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded, and visually fluent Director, Creative & Web to lead our centralized brand and web development interfaces under a permanent, full-time remote configuration open across the United States. In this executive individual contributor and team leadership seat, you will claim absolute visual identity, structural design library, and multi-channel marketing campaign governance accountability across all company touchpoints. Shifting completely away from non-technical text copywriting loops, entry-level office data transcription, or basic backend database administration, you will direct an active digital experience, brand scaling, and interface prototyping laboratory—partnering face-to-face with the CMO, VP of Marketing, and product UI/UX engineers. This position requires a creative design authority with 10+ years of tech-sector experience who structures scalable corporate component sets fluidly natively using UI/UX Design and brand guidelines, evaluates user experience patterns cleanly across public web architectures, integrates generative AI production tools systematically, and presents high-fidelity corporate assets confidently to C-level and investor committees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Visual Brand Identity Governance: Design, implement, and maintain a highly cohesive, enterprise-scale visual identity and brand style guideline system natively utilizing UI/UX Design rules across all print, print collateral, and digital channels.
  • Design System Architecture & Scalability: Overhaul and govern centralized design token systems, component libraries, and templates to enable rapidly growing marketing cells to promote brand-consistent assets efficiently.
  • Web Presence Creative Direction: Partner cross-functionally alongside core web development squads and content strategists to manage, refine, and optimize SpecterOps public website nodes and responsive landing pages.
  • High-Impact Visual Storytelling: Collaborate with technical cyber security researchers and product marketers to translate highly abstract threat matrices, data diagrams, and reports into intuitive graphical layouts.
  • Executive Strategy Representation: Author and deliver top-tier creative assets and presentation decks cleanly optimized for C-suite speaking tracks, investor pitches, and corporate tech conferences.
  • AI-Native Production Automation: Integrate advanced generative design utilities responsibly (such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or Runway) to accelerate workflow throughput while protecting core brand compliance boundaries.
  • External Agency & Team Management: Lead, scale, and mentor an internal high-performing creative cell while supervising external design freelancers, printers, and multimedia production vendors.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10+ years of proven professional history operating inside an active Creative Director, Brand Design Principal, Lead UI/UX Strategist, or closely related design leadership capacity.
  • Mandatory Domain Background: Extensive, demonstrable history driving creative execution, brand overhauls, or marketing design frameworks specifically situated within the B2B technology or cybersecurity sectors.
  • Expert-level production proficiency manipulating design software tools, demonstrating master-level execution via Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven capacity to manage and steward complex design systems at scale across disparate digital platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Exceptional visual presentation and communication strengths, with an established track record formatting creative materials for C-level corporate executives.
  • Location Context: Position operates under 100% remote parameters open exclusively to qualified creative design leads authorized to work and residing permanently inside the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience operating inside an expanding, fast-paced venture-backed tech firm or enterprise consulting agency.
  • Grounded understanding of fundamental frontend web constraints to collaborate smoothly with engineering cells during custom code implementations.
  • Active background setting up structured project intake workflows, capacity planning ledgers, or design audit tracking tools.

What We Offer

  • Top Competitive Executive Salary Grid: A market-competitive annual base salary structure of $205,000 – $235,000 USD calibrated to experience benchmarks, supplemented by corporate stock option access and semi-annual performance bonuses.
  • 100% remote workspace freedom within the United States, backed by a generous $1,500 new hire home-office infrastructure allowance and a $500 annual renewal stipend.
  • 100% Paid Comprehensive Health Care: 100% company-covered medical, dental, vision, and life insurance premiums protecting both the employee and their legal family.
  • Retirement savings stability via a corporate 401(k) program offering an attractive up to 4% company matching layer.
  • Generous Wellness & Family Stipends: Inclusions for a $1,200 annual lifestyle wallet (for fitness or pet insurance), a one-time $10,000 family planning benefit, and a monthly $150 cell phone and internet reimbursement.
  • Access to a $5,000 annual professional development budget alongside an additional $5,250 dedicated towards continuing higher education or student loan repayments.
  • Flexible time off structures, 13 paid national holidays, and matching corporate donation opportunities.
