About Mangomint: Mangomint is a premier, internationally recognized vertical software powerhouse, business automation pioneer, and cloud-native beauty-tech trailblazer operating on an absolute mission to protect, automate, and maximize profitability for modern salons and spas across North America. Serving thousands of high-velocity storefronts and recognized as the highest-rated SaaS platform in the United States and Canada, Mangomint simplifies complex client scheduling grids, processes millions in point-of-sale transactions, and drives automated client marketing pipelines. Headquartered primarily as a remote entity with a highly collaborative, ambitious engineering culture that meets physically every few months, the hyper-growth company is executing a rapid trajectory to become the undisputed #1 undisputed market leader. The firm equips high-agency technology craftspeople with an uncompromised remote canvas to leverage state-of-the-art serverless systems, manipulate automated pipeline flows, and deploy robust, secure infrastructure frameworks globally.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, problem-obsessed, and automation-minded DevOps Engineer to join our core centralized R&D engineering collective in a full-time remote capacity open to qualified infrastructure authorities resident anywhere across the United States. In this highly cross-functional, system-level role, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for finding and eliminating performance bottlenecks across the engineering engine and wider business lines. Shifting completely away from routine manual server monitoring loops, reactive standalone alert resets, minor localized database tweaks, or simple administrative script copying, you will run an active automated release, technical security, and “VibeOps” infrastructure laboratory—collaborating hand-in-hand with both core engineering teams and non-technical department leads. This position requires an internet technology or software delivery veteran with 3+ years of craft depth who maps out automated cloud deployment paths fluidly natively using DevOps mechanics, develops robust automation macros and script adapters cleanly natively leveraging Python or related software coding languages, and commands DevSecOps security screening platforms confidently under fast-evolving AI agent workflow parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure and Pipeline Governance: Build, manage, and optimize enterprise-grade continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) structures to ensure software assets ship reliably natively utilizing DevOps principles.
  • Pioneering VibeOps Engineering: Review, refactor, and translate raw prototype applications and AI-generated, vibe-coded software tools built by non-technical teams into highly secure, stable, and production-ready corporate systems.
  • Advanced DevSecOps Security Hardening: Enforce deep runtime protection patterns across core code repositories and internal custom apps, injecting authentication gates, strict unit testing, and automated dependency scanning smoothly natively using DevOps toolsets.
  • Automated Security and Vulnerability Audits: Manage static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) frameworks, setting up vulnerability mitigation tracks through platforms like Snyk, SonarQube, and TruffleHog.
  • Cross-Department Integration Engineering: Design, troubleshoot, and scale robust APIs and cloud-to-cloud automations to maximize efficiency across Support, Onboarding, Sales, and core R&D cells cleanly natively leveraging Python or system scripting runtimes.
  • Multi-Tenant AWS Architecture Maintenance: Oversee serverless and computing footprints across our Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, optimizing microservice layers touching Lambda, SQS, RDS, and EC2 instances.
  • Compliance and Security Testing Support: Map infrastructure profiles directly to security testing playbooks, helping the business maintain strict alignment with SOC2 data governance and compliance metrics.
  • Asynchronous Team Alignment: Partner proactively across distributed engineering units, bringing a tool-agnostic approach that prioritizes holistic systemic problem-solving over rigid reliance on predefined toolsets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of verified professional history running advanced DevOps engineering, site reliability operations, infrastructure automation, application security engineering, or technical cloud consulting.
  • Expert-tier capability automating build environments, configuring continuous delivery trunks, and managing scalable cloud systems natively utilizing DevOps practices (with a preference for exposure to Terraform or Pulumi models).
  • Practical operational familiarity parsing system scripts, handling string manipulations, and managing automation wrappers natively using Python, Bash, or alternative runtime scripts.
  • Demonstrated capacity to inspect, refactor, and secure prototype or large-language-model-generated software code blocks into clean, structured, and maintainable production targets.
  • Familiarity navigating a multi-language developer stack, highlighting foundational reading exposure to languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Proven background managing pipeline security configurations, including hands-on experience tracking vulnerability catalogs via tools such as Snyk, SonarQube, or TruffleHog.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and scannable technical documentation communication attributes in business-fluent English, enabling uncompromised collaboration when translating technical guardrails for non-technical company stakeholders.
  • Location Context: Position open to qualified DevOps engineers based permanently and resident within the borders of the United States to operate under a 100% remote work-from-home layout.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior technical operations or backend development background operating explicitly inside high-growth B2B SaaS platforms, digital payment processing systems, or multi-tenant scheduling environments.
  • Direct hands-on experience handling SIEM infrastructures, log management platforms, or executing SOC2 control evidence collection.
  • Exposure to no-code or low-code enterprise automation suites (such as Zapier or Pipedream) or integrating custom AI agent frameworks into production pipelines.

What We Offer

  • Vetted B2B SaaS Sector Salaried Blueprint: A competitive full-time baseline annual corporate base salary package structured transparently between $150,000 and $170,000 USD, calibrated precisely to evaluate your DevOps craftsmanship, security authority, and automation engineering depth, paired with a comprehensive equity stake via our Employee Stock Option Program.
  • The exceptional professional canvas to claim absolute technical code authorship over the deployment systems power-routing software for the highest-rated salon and spa SaaS in North America.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters offering a 100% remote virtual home office layout, complete schedule execution trust, and zero physical geographic office commuting friction, flanked by funded periodic in-person team offsites.
  • Immediate baseline entry into comprehensive corporate protection layers, including top-tier Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability (LTD) insurance plans.
  • Access to elite personal lifestyle and wellness benefits, featuring a generous completely Flexible and Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, an institutional corporate 401(k) retirement system, a dedicated monthly cash wellness budget for gym or yoga memberships, an official complimentary premium Calm app subscription, and a full One Medical membership package.
