DevOps Engineer

About the Role: Dev Technology Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our project team to support our federal government client and their mission. You will provide software development, continuous integration, systems administration, and delivery support using Agile and DevSecOps principles.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the configuration, usage, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure services including AWS EKS, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, tooling, and processes to support development and deployment.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible to develop, deploy, and maintain environments.
• Deliver software to a containerized cloud environment with a focus on optimization, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with the client on design, development, and data teams to build valuable tools.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with 3+ years of experience related to software development and DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, and delivering to containerized cloud environments (AWS, EKS).
• Practical knowledge of LINUX configuration practices and Bash scripting automation.
• Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a government public trust clearance.
• Bonus: Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or an active AWS Certification.
