What You'll Do

• Own the craft of livekit.com, pushing boundaries in motion, interaction, and performance for a developer-facing marketing site.
• Engineer the new brand identity into a living system: reusable components, motion patterns, and tooling for fast, on-brand work.
• Build high-performance launch pages, product pages, and campaign surfaces that meet an insanely high bar without slowing down the team.
• Treat performance as a feature, ensuring rich experiences stay fast and measurable.
• Collaborate daily with brand designers, marketers, and the design engineering team to turn ideas into shipped web solutions.

Who You Are

• An exceptional front-end engineer with a portfolio of production web work that speaks for itself.
• Obsessed with detail—motion, interaction, and performance are your focus, not checkboxes.
• Fluent in translating brand and design intent into reusable systems and components.
• Fast and self-directed, shipping polished work without waiting for perfect specs.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a developer-tools, API, or infrastructure company, understanding why engineers distrust marketing and how to win them over.
• WebGL, shaders, or creative-coding skills for unique, innovative solutions.
• Contributions to design systems, including tokens, primitives, and documentation that others actually use.
• Battle scars from optimizing a rich site to pass Core Web Vitals, with strong opinions on how to do it.
