Deployed Software Engineer

About the Role: Hungryroot is using AI to build the most consumer-centric food and wellness company. We are looking for a Deployed Software Engineer to work directly with internal stakeholders, building an agentic workforce to automate workflows and drive productivity across the organization. The impact is immediate and visible—you will build custom tools and applications that people will use every day.

What You'll Do

• Proactively identify inefficiencies, broken processes, and untapped opportunities across the organization.
• Build and ship custom tools, integrations, and internal applications that deliver immediate, visible impact.
• Translate non-technical asks into technical requirements and manage competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
• Continually integrate AI processes into your workflow to simplify work for the organization.
• Serve as the first line of defense when something breaks: diagnose fast, fix fast, communicate clearly.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• 3+ years coding with Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Agentic tools, LangChain, and AI SDKs (Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI Builder preferred).
• Experience with production-level monitoring, error observability, and performance tuning (Sentry, Datadog).
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, ask the right questions, and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
