About the Role

As a Demo Engineer at Cresta, you will play a mission-critical role in enabling our go-to-market team to tell compelling, credible, and technically sound stories about our AI-powered platform. You will build and support the environments, custom tooling, and synthetic scenarios that showcase our real-time coaching, conversation intelligence, and virtual agent capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demo Environment Architecture: Own the technical process for building pilots, proofs-of-concept (POCs), and tailored demo workflows featuring virtual agents and live assist tools.
  • Custom Integration Development: Build custom automations, CCaaS/CRM connectors, AI skills, and apps to expand pre-sales demo capabilities.
  • Environment Optimization: Ensure the performance, data consistency, and absolute reliability of centralized demo environments, triaging any blocking deployment issues.
  • Technical Enablement: Partner closely with Solutions, Product, and Engineering pods to deliver technical tooling setups and channel critical presales prospect feedback back into the core product lifecycle.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in demo engineering, solutions architecture, integration engineering, or systems implementation.
  • Strong technical execution skills utilizing REST APIs, authentication patterns, Git, and SQL/Relational data.
  • Proficiency in scripting environments via Python, JavaScript, or Bash/Shell.
  • High-agency ownership mindset with the capability to debug systems independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate advanced engineering designs into crisp customer-centric value stories.
  • Bonus Points: Familiarity with CCaaS (Twilio, Amazon Connect, Five9), CRMs (Salesforce), and modern AI-native engineering tools (Claude/Cursor workflows, agents, MCP connectors).

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 USD per year.
  • Total OTE (On Target Earnings): $169,000 - $200,000 USD including variable structures + Equity.
