Position Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Development Data Team—a small, highly collaborative group that directly supports fundraising strategy, data quality assurance, and executive decision-making across the organization. This is a high-ownership position sitting at the center of intake reporting, business operations, and automation engineering for the Development department.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting Pipeline Ownership: Manage the end-to-end intake, prioritization, and execution of complex data requests from Development, Marketing, Finance, and Executive leadership cohorts.
- BI Dashboard Architecture: Build, optimize, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards utilizing Sigma, Snowflake, and Virtuous CRM data warehouses.
- Executive Deliverables: Formulate and deliver recurring weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages relied upon by the executive block.
- Workflow Automation: Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools and internal automation frameworks to eliminate repetitive data gathering and optimize reporting operations.
- Data Governance: Partner alongside the core Data Team on rigorous quality control frameworks, data validation metrics, and CRM-wide data hygiene initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, quantitative reporting, or an operational database role.
- Strong, verifiable **SQL modeling skills** with comprehensive exposure to query optimization inside large, relational datasets.
- Demonstrated success constructing high-utility BI dashboards that translate raw metrics into clean, non-technical business solutions.
- Elite attention to detail, rigid testing criteria, and solid critical thinking mechanics under deadline constraints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present analytical findings to cross-functional organizational stakeholders.
- Location Context: Fully remote opportunity, but candidates must completely reside within one of the following eligible states: AZ, CA, FL, IL, IN, IA, NC, NE, OH, OK, TN, or TX.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct operational analytics experience utilizing Snowflake data warehouses.
- Hands-on daily user familiarity with BI frameworks like Sigma, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Prior experience extracting metrics out of donor CRM platforms such as Virtuous or Salesforce.
- Familiarity tracking tasks and priorities within an agile ticketing or intake management framework.
- Strong alignment with PragerU’s organizational mission and values.
Compensation & Perks
- Target Base Salary: $65,000 - $80,000+ USD per year.
- Eligible for performance-based annual bonus structures.
