Job Description
About the Role: GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps. We are seeking a Customer Success Engineer to expand impact across APJ by partnering with customers to help them get measurable value from GitLab through hands-on technical guidance and proactive enablement. This role is ideal for a developer or systems engineer looking to transition into customer success while leveraging deep technical expertise.
What You'll Do
- Provide on-demand technical consultancy and solution guidance through Zoom and written channels to solve day-to-day issues.
- Drive product adoption and deliver technical/architectural guidance across source code management, CI/CD, and Agile planning.
- Partner with Account Executives and Renewals Managers to align technical recommendations to customer objectives.
- Plan and lead customer workshops, demos, and enablement sessions that drive measurable adoption.
- Contribute to scalable enablement by improving documentation and sharing knowledge through internal and external channels.
What You Bring
- Experience providing technical consultancy and solution guidance through video calls and written channels.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps workflows, CI/CD, security, and Agile planning.
- Hands-on technical background in software development, systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical topics clearly to customers and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, asynchronous environment and adapt to APJ cultures.
