Twilio equips operational experts with an uncompromised administrative canvas to manage customer-facing ledger assets, optimize corporate liquidity channels, and handle complex credit portfolios with transparency and empathy.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, connection-obsessed, and systems-minded Credit & Collections Analyst 1 to join our world-class global Accounting organization under a permanent, full-time remote engagement framework based within designated states in India. Operating as a hands-on portfolio manager within a fast-paced corporate accounting environment, you will step up to claim true individual operational and timeline accountability over monitoring key customer accounts, tracking incoming queries, and accelerating outstanding cash collections. Shifting completely away from routine passive data entry, simple math processing, or isolated spreadsheet logging, you will run an active accounts receivable recovery, granular financial reconciliation, and cross-functional dispute triage laboratory—partnering face-to-face with global enterprise customers, commercial sales pods, legal teams, and internal cash application groups. This position requires an operational professional with 3+ years of corporate accounting depth who navigates complex client ledgers fluidly natively using Financial Analyst paradigms, evaluates portfolio delinquency boundaries cleanly using data-driven metric reports, and drives collection workflows confidently to protect corporate liquidity and meet aggressive aging thresholds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Asset Governance: Take complete operational ownership over a dedicated portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring key customer-facing email aliases to ensure all credit queries are resolved strictly within established SLA limits.
  • Cash Target Optimization: Execute persistent, structured collection workflows to hit monthly corporate cash procurement targets while maintaining best-in-class customer satisfaction levels cleanly natively utilizing Financial Analyst tactics.
  • Aging Delinquency Triage: Monitor account balances closely to implement proactive recovery measures, ensuring that all 60+ days outstanding overdue debt remains strictly below 3% each month.
  • Granular Ledger Reconciliation: Conduct comprehensive invoice, transaction, and payment reconciliations, uncovering and correcting systemic billing anomalies or payment misallocations.
  • Cross-Functional Issue Resolution: Partner closely with internal account management and external procurement stakeholders to identify, trace, and isolate deep root-cause billing roadblocks.
  • Financial Reporting Delivery: Package and deliver ongoing, data-driven collections status summaries and issue logs, highlighting past-due accounts and progress metrics clearly for senior accounting leadership.

Required Skills & & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of verified career history operating successfully within a fast-paced corporate Accounting or Global Business Services (GBS) department.
  • Between 1 to 3 years of dedicated, non-internship experience explicitly managing outbound credit collections, customer reconciliations, or accounts receivable operations.
  • Demonstrated capability running complex invoice and billing ledger matches cleanly natively utilizing Financial Analyst strategies.
  • Excellent communication clarity and interpersonal skills in English, featuring the ability to remain firm yet polite, professional, and empathetic during stressful client collection interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving capacity with a natural affinity for analyzing numerical datasets and translating microscopic details into high-level status patterns.
  • Location Context: This position operates on a virtual framework open to qualified individuals living permanently within India (specifically residing in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, or Delhi), with the willingness to travel up to 10% for team alignment sessions.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Third-level academic qualification (Bachelor or Master degree) in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a highly adjacent quantitative Business discipline.
  • Prior background navigating enterprise financial resource planning (ERP) systems, advanced collections platforms, and complex cloud-based ledger software frameworks.
  • A proactive personal mindset focused on continuous process optimization, showing comfort building structure amid rapid commercial growth.

What We Offer

  • Vetted, Enterprise Cloud Tech Salary Blueprint: A highly competitive, full-time baseline corporate compensation package calibrated against your accounting craft depth, supplemented by performance incentives and localized benefit matrices.
  • The spectacular professional canvas to drive immediate, measurable impacts on the global liquidity run-rate of a major public communications platform.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters providing an autonomous virtual environment across designated Indian states, flexible schedule trust, and zero physical commuting friction.
  • Generous time-off parameters, comprehensive parental and wellness leave plans, private healthcare support structures, and corporate retirement savings options tailored by region.
  • Active corporate sponsorship for community volunteerism, charitable donation matching, and deep engagement in developer-first industry innovations.
