Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-fluent, and development-oriented Contracts and Legal Department Administrator to spearhead legal request intake systems, document management lifecycles, and compliance tracking frameworks under a permanent, full-time remote configuration within the United States. Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, you will serve as the principal operational authority responsible for maximizing the velocity and technical output of the core legal division. Shifting completely away from routine general public customer service lines, basic front-end layout tweaking, or simple data formatting spreadsheets, you will operate an active multi-tenant contract lifecycle management (CLM) database implementation, internal workflow automation scripting, and corporate entity tracking laboratory. Partnering directly beside enterprise leadership, cross-functional sales operators, and external vendors, you will map abstract operational risks into highly efficient internal playbooks. This position requires a professional legal expert with a robust combination of undergraduate training, contract management mastery, and paralegal tracking history who handles administrative tasks fluidly natively using Paralegal, Technical Support, and Project Management primitives, balances shifting programmatic workflows cleanly, and establishes document naming conventions independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Governance: Oversee, execute, and monitor the end-to-end administration and processing pipelines for all corporate customer, vendor, and partner agreements natively utilizing Paralegal best practices.
- Intake Channel Customization: Own, calibrate, and manage the official legal request intake and review program, providing rapid operational visibility and technical triage to cross-functional divisions.
- Document Management Architecture: Source, deploy, and maintain our central contract/document management software environment, creating structural document naming conventions and indexing rules across centralized electronic vaults.
- Routine Document Engineering: Independently draft, review, and format routine contracts, master service agreements, and legal records with limited attorney oversight or instruction.
- Workflow Automation & Process Optimization: Identify and deploy software automation tools, custom integrations, and script adapters to systematically reduce manual administrative overhead within the department.
- Legal Playbook & SOP Development: Author, update, and manage comprehensive operational templates, internal task playbooks, and standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring legal projects natively leveraging Technical Support baselines.
- Corporate Records Control: Maintain, track, and securely file official corporate records, litigation deadlines, policy disclosures, and multi-tenant compliance checkmarks natively deploying Project Management guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Leadership Synthesis: Interact cleanly alongside company executives to unblock contracting bottlenecks, align cross-team priorities, and deliver smooth daily operational support across changing workday priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Possess a formal undergraduate degree combined with documented professional contract management and practical paralegal tracking history inside a high-growth tech environment.
- Expert Database and Document Command: Meticulous hands-on tracking experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade document management or contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
- Advanced operational technology literacy using document formatting tools and business suites (including expert command of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Google Workspace applications).
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple complex, multi-stakeholder legal projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and changing organizational directions.
- Outstanding written, oral, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with an established background collaborating with vendors, cross-functional managers, and corporate contracting entities cleanly with minimal oversight.
- Strict Confidentiality Protection: Uncompromised commitment to maintaining strict operational discretion and data privacy guardrails regarding all internal corporate matters.
- Location Context: Position operates under remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified full-stack legal operations and contract management authorities residing permanently within the United States.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior platform or consulting background managing legal operations explicitly inside the healthcare technology (HealthTech), SaaS developer tools, multi-tenant cloud infrastructure, or hyper-scale enterprise B2B software fields.
- Direct operational familiarity utilizing advanced automated compliance trackers, workflow ticketing systems, or agile collaboration networks.
- An adaptable, positive-minded team-player persona characterized by a strong bias toward action, deep critical thinking capabilities, and a passion for turning traditional administrative blockages into efficient digital solutions.
What We Offer
- Premium United States Legal Operations Remuneration Matrix: A highly competitive annual target cash base salary scale of $75,000 — $100,000 USD calibrated precisely to your individual systems pedigree and deployment velocity, supplemented by potential equity compensation packages for outstanding performance.
- 100% remote workspace infrastructure freedom open within the United States, giving you absolute control over your daily schedule with optional hybrid access to our physical corporate recovery suite (featuring a cold plunge, sauna, and shower).
- High-Leverage Scaling Footprint: Elite professional growth checkpoints built by single-handedly blueprinting the intake models, automated CLM playbooks, and structural contract architectures backing a hyper-growth healthcare standard.
- Comprehensive physical preservation benefits, including corporate-paid group medical, dental, and vision insurance networks.
- Access to uncompromised employee alignment protocols including flexible Paid Time Off (PTO), company-paid disability and life insurance, company-paid family and medical leave plans, discounted pet insurance, 401(k) financial security plans, FSA/DCA commuter choices, and complimentary subscriptions to digital fitness and wellness content.
