About Crux: Crux is the definitive corporate capital platform for the modern clean economy, on an ambitious mission to rebuild and modernize capital raising and deployment structures for clean energy and critical infrastructure projects. Operating with solutions across transaction advisory, green investments, custom technology interfaces, and market intelligence, Crux bridges the gap between clean energy component developers and large finance networks. Backed by $77 million in venture capital from elite investors—including Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, and QED—Crux has successfully closed over 130 high-concurrency transactions within the last two years, driving billions of institutional dollars directly into renewable energy projects globally.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly autonomous, channel-fluent, and tech-forward Content Marketing Strategist to spearhead the formulation, positioning, and end-to-end execution of our corporate thought leadership and sales enablement frameworks under a permanent, full-time remote footprint open within the United States. Sitting inside our fast-scaling Marketing vertical, you will report directly to the Senior Brand & Content Lead, claiming absolute ownership over our outreach strategy directed at tax credit buyers, institutional investors, and enterprise finance leaders. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative transcription loops, entry-level helpdesk ticketing, or basic keyword-stuffed blog modifications, you will run an active high-trust financial narrative engineering, multi-format media creation, and search engine/answer engine optimization (SEO/AEO) performance laboratory. Partnering directly next to our internal Capital Solutions, Engineering, and Visual Design teams, you will turn complex financial regulations, tax equity metrics, and debt structures into scannable, elite market collateral. This position requires a marketing professional with 4–6 years of progressive history who constructs communication pipelines fluidly natively using Content Writer, SEO, and Copywriter primitives, brings a deep pulse for institutional finance dialogue, and holds a genuine passion for accelerating the clean energy economy.
Key Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership Program Governance: Direct, build, and optimize the overarching content marketing playbook targeted at institutional investors, corporate finance teams, private credit funds, and tax advisors natively utilizing Content Writer structures.
- Multi-Format Campaign Instrumentation: Research, author, and deploy high-value creative assets across varying digital channels—encompassing real-world case studies, complex whitepapers, corporate newsletters, executive blog entries, sales one-pagers, and multimedia scripts.
- SEO & AEO Optimization Control: Execute data-driven content architectures engineered specifically to maximize Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) visibility across digital partnership channels.
- Sales Enablement Scaffolding: Partner close-knit with our Capital Solutions groups to design, review, and furnish commercial units with sophisticated educational assets that help convert institutional buyers.
- Advanced AI Workflow Integration: Actively embed, experiment with, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI models and automation toolchains into daily copywriting and structuring loops to maximize campaign output speeds.
- Long-Term Calendar Alignment: Formulate and manage an uncompromised long-term content calendar, aligning baseline marketing deliverables seamlessly with changing commercial priority milestones.
- Multimedia Design Synthesis: Collaborate face-to-face beside specialized design cells to produce scannable infographics, technical diagrams, and video assets optimized for social distribution.
- Brand Consistency Monitoring: Enforce tight brand guidelines and messaging alignment parameters across all publishing surfaces to preserve Crux’s high standard of commercial quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 4–6 years of proven, successful professional history operating within a Content Marketing Strategist, Corporate Communications Lead, Financial Copywriter, FinTech Growth Specialist, or closely matching tech-enabled business development capacity.
- Expert Financial Domain Command: Absolute, verifiable operational fluency in the specialized language of institutional finance—explicitly including deep familiarity with tax credits, tax equity structures, structured debt, capital market dynamics, and clean energy regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional, elite writing and editing strengths in English, with an established background rendering abstract, heavily technical financial systems into highly scannable, engaging content.
- Demonstrated history proactively experimenting with generative AI toolsets, prompt scaffolding, or LLM-driven research workflows to systematically accelerate marketing leverage.
- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and organizational habits, with the standalone ability to operate with high autonomy and execute across matrixed team boundaries.
- Location Context: Position operates under remote parameters open exclusively to qualified technical communications and content authorities residing permanently within the United States.
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior platform or architectural background engineering customer-acquisition loops specifically for venture-backed clean energy finance portals, sustainable investment platforms, or enterprise B2B fintech SaaS infrastructures.
- Familiarity with tracking metrics, intent-data visualization interfaces, or handling structured public-relations networks.
- An adaptable scale-up drive characterized by high personal ownership, rapid execution loops, and an interest in attending our team offsites three times a year.
What We Offer
- Top-Tier US Green-FinTech Marketing Remuneration Matrix: A highly competitive annual base salary scale of $120,000 - $170,000 USD calibrated precisely to your finance-writing pedigree, augmented by an additional $10,000 - $40,000 corporate revenue-tied bonus layer and high-upside stock options.
- 100% remote workspace infrastructure autonomy open across the United States, with open access to optional physical collaborative offices located in Washington, D.C. and New York City.
- Front-Row Capital Market Transformation Footprint: Elite professional landmarks achieved by directly crafting the public thought leadership defining how multi-billion dollar capital pools flow into clean energy infrastructures.
- Comprehensive family-first health care preservation benefits, featuring 100% company-covered healthcare premiums for employees via Aetna and Kaiser networks, plus 70% company subsidies for dependents.
- Access to 100% company-covered Dental and Vision plans (with 50% dependent coverage), 20 days of annual Paid Time Off (PTO), 10 standard company holidays, 401(k) retirement accounts, an elite parental leave policy (16 weeks for birthing, 12 weeks for non-birthing parents), and regular corporate team offsites three times a year to connect and celebrate face-to-face.
