Mom's Meals
View Company ProfileMom's Meals (operating at momsmeals.com) is a **medically tailored meal delivery** platform engineered for individuals managing chronic health conditions, post-discharge recovery, or nutrition insecurity. Founded in 1999 by Barb Anderson and Rick Anderson, and headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Mom's Meals specializes in providing **nutritious, ready-to-heat-and-eat meals**—a critical alternative to ultra-processed or insufficient nutrition. Unlike traditional meal services, it integrates **food as medicine**, offering medically tailored options alongside nutrition counseling to address specific dietary needs. Under the hood, the company partners with healthcare providers, hospitals, and senior living facilities to deliver meals directly to homes nationwide, ensuring accessibility for those who cannot easily prepare meals themselves. This allows patients, elderly individuals, and post-discharge clients to maintain proper nutrition without compromising convenience or dietary requirements. Backed by funding exceeding undisclosed amounts, Mom's Meals has scaled operations over its 25-year history, reinforcing its mission to combat food insecurity through evidence-based meal solutions.
