Key Responsibilities
Communication
- Engage directly with players by responding to comments on social media platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to align on Tone of Voice, FAQs, and response guidelines for clear community communication.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Community Managers during absences (holiday/sick leave).
- Manage client interactions when the Community Manager Lead is unavailable.
- Foster a positive work environment, build engagement, and resolve conflicts.
Analytics
- Create reports analyzing content performance and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Assist the CM Lead in producing and delivering performance reports in an agreed format and schedule.
Leadership
- Lead the team in Paid Social Media initiatives.
- Support the CM Lead in managing all processes and ensuring timely delivery of Community Management services across multiple projects.
- Assist with training and coaching new and existing Community and Social Media Managers.
Business
- Develop content calendars with creative ideation and produce engaging content.
- Schedule content for social channels and write copy aligning with brand voice.
- Support campaign planning, audience and trend research, and brand building.
- Collaborate with studios to understand available imagery and create additional assets (static and video) as needed.
Requirements
- Prior professional experience in community management or social media within the gaming industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with and understanding of platforms like Bilibili, Weibo, Douyin, and Xiaoheihe.
- Passion for video games and social media.
- Strong understanding of social media/community management platforms (Discord, Twitch, Reddit, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
