Cloud Native Architect, Portworx (Germany)

About the Role: The Cloud Native Architect (CNA) is a senior technical leader owning the technical sales strategy, evaluation approach, and architectural direction for a focused set of Purestorage's largest and most complex customers. You will operate at the intersection of cloud-native platforms, business outcomes, and executive decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Lead the full cloud-native technical sales lifecycle, spanning discovery, architectural alignment, workshops, demonstrations, and POC or POV execution.
• Architect Kubernetes-centric data platforms that span multiple environments, business units, and regions.
• Act as the primary technical advisor, engaging senior engineering leaders and executives through briefings and architecture workshops.
• Secure the technical decision by defining success criteria and guiding validation for enterprise opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership through customer forums, community events, and mentoring peers.

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience in customer-facing technical roles within software or platform organizations.
• Strong exposure to cloud-native and Kubernetes-based architectures.
• Comfort operating at the enterprise level, translating complex technical capabilities into clear business and financial value.
• Experience navigating long-cycle, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales opportunities.
• Strong architectural judgment, clear communication, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
