About Kleva: Kleva is a disruptive, AI-first platform transforming the financial landscape by automating end-to-end debt collection processes. We build highly intelligent conversational systems capable of autonomous decision-making—determining precisely when, where, and how to engage customers while executing fluid, natural voice interactions. Moving far beyond simple automated bots or basic dialer flows, Kleva engineers high-availability, real-time telephony architectures and machine learning systems that handle thousands of simultaneous voice sessions for leading global fintechs and financial institutions.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly autonomous, systems-fluent, and automation-obsessed Cloud DevOps Engineer to claim absolute technical ownership over Kleva’s global cloud infrastructure under a permanent, full-time remote or hybrid layout based in Argentina or Mexico. In this high-leverage site reliability and cloud platform seat, you will treat infrastructure as a core product, designing resilient software frameworks and automating configuration layers from the inside out. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative transcription logs, entry-level web template modifications, or basic desktop support ticketing, you will direct an active container orchestration, multi-tenant database isolation, and low-latency voice streaming laboratory. Partnering directly with embedded artificial intelligence developers and product squads, you will ensure our real-time voice agents operate flawlessly with zero downtime. This position requires an engineering authority with 3–5 years of professional DevOps history who structures distributed system runbooks fluidly natively using DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) primitives, builds scalable CI/CD pipelines, and implements robust observability dashboards to catch errors before users experience them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Architecture Governance: Design, implement, and scale Kleva’s core multi-tenant cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP environments natively utilizing DevOps best practices.
  • High-Availability Container Orchestration: Architect, test, and optimize production-grade Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and Docker setups to guarantee fault-tolerant clusters capable of managing intense transaction spikes.
  • End-to-End Observability Instrumentation: Build and maintain robust logging aggregation networks, telemetry alerts, performance metrics, and real-time visualization dashboards.
  • Low-Latency Voice Pipeline Optimization: Fine-tune processing nodes, edge structures, and transport layers to secure ultra-low latency, high concurrency, and zero downtime across live voice streaming networks.
  • Secure CI/CD Pipeline Engineering: Formulate, compile, and protect automated continuous deployment networks using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI to enable secure, lightning-fast application updates.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Scaffolding: Maintain absolute environment consistency by blueprinting all infrastructure changes using declarative tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Multi-Tenant Compliance & Isolation Control: Oversee tenant environment parameters, ensuring strict compute and data layer isolation patterns across our diverse financial enterprise clients.
  • Cost Optimization & Triage: Continually audit cluster usage profiles and database footprints, minimizing cloud expenditure vectors without degrading platform throughput.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of proven, successful professional history operating inside a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Systems Programmer, or closely matching technical cloud infrastructure capacity.
  • Expert Production Kubernetes Command: Solid, hands-on history deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting container orchestration fabrics in live commercial systems.
  • Advanced operational fluency using prominent enterprise cloud services, demonstrating full confidence configuring architectures inside AWS or GCP platforms (including EC2, RDS, Cloud Run, or equivalent systems).
  • Demonstrated technical capability writing modular code setups utilizing declarative Infrastructure as Code frameworks (specifically Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving habits, with a verified history identifying, diagnosing, and resolving complex system degradation bottlenecks under high-pressure parameters.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication strengths in English or Spanish, with an established ability to navigate structural ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Location Context: Position operates under flexible remote guidelines open exclusively to qualified infrastructure professionals residing permanently within Argentina (Buenos Aires hub) or Mexico (Mexico City hub).

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior technical or architectural background managing real-time data streaming frameworks or voice systems (such as WebSockets, Apache Kafka, or custom VoIP/SIP infrastructure nodes).
  • Hands-on administrative literacy configuring telemetry and monitoring software suites like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus platforms.
  • Previous background working within high-availability FinTech SaaS spaces or fast-paced, venture-backed early-stage tech startups.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Dollar-Denominated Remuneration Matrix: An attractive salary package pegged securely in US Dollars (USD) to shield your income, matched with performance incentives and technical growth rewards.
  • 100% remote workspace flexibility from your home workstation across Argentina or Mexico, with optional access to modern hybrid hub collaboration spaces in Buenos Aires and Mexico City.
  • Direct High-Volume AI Scale Credentials: Elite professional milestones achieved by anchoring the cloud architecture that powers thousands of autonomous conversational AI transactions daily.
  • Three weeks of fully paid vacation per year to ensure excellent operational recovery and personal well-being balance.
  • Access to an open, flat company culture that prioritizes high craftsmanship and definitive results over corporate egos, administrative red tape, or unnecessary hierarchy layers.
