Cloud Developer – API Platform

About the Role: Nordcloud is a European leader in cloud implementation, application development, and managed services. We are looking for a Cloud Developer to join our team and drive the evolution of a centrally managed API platform built on Google Cloud. This role combines software development with Infrastructure-as-Code to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions.

What You'll Do

• Enhance and optimize our API platform using ApigeeX and Google Cloud services.
• Develop features and automation for APIs and platform components.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Github Actions) for deployments and provisioning.
• Ensure API security, compliance, and observability.
• Design technical solutions, building, testing, and implementing new business requirements.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud and building API platforms, Serverless, Datastore, and BigQuery.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Javascript/Typescript.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of API management and security best practices (Cloud Armor, WAF).
• Bonus: Experience with ApigeeX, Angular frontend development, or AI-assisted software development.
