The Role
Manage development and delivery of payment system products and solutions.
Assess business requirements, design, and deliver efficient solutions that meet the requirements.
Manage a team of Technical Leads and Developers.
Guide team members on technical design, architecture, code and map them to functional requirements.
Work closely in collaboration with the Delivery managers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Quality Assurance, Production Support other vertical heads for delivery of the final product/solution.
Ensure quality of delivery by setting processes and reviews using automated methods/tools like GIT, Sonarqube and Jenkins.
Design solution in accordance with the security and regulatory standards and requirements of the payments industry.
Ensure compliance with the organizations and industry’s standards, frameworks and policies.
Prepare, publish and present status reports to the senior management.
Requirements
Practical experience:
12-15 years of total experience in development and delivery of payment solutions including 4+ years’ experience as a Technical Lead.
Technical background:
Java, RESTful Web Services, SQL, Spring Framework, TCP/IP programming, JSON/XML messaging, XSLT programming, Angular/React or similar Javascript technologies.
Git, Jenkins, SourceTree and code review tools like Sonarqube.
Industry background:
Knowledge and experience on Debit/Prepaid Card Lifecycle Management System, Issuing/Acquiring Reconciliation System, Real Time Payment Systems, ISO 8583/20022 message formats, Cryptographic Procedures and Algorithms, will be an advantage.
Leadership and communication:
Ability to lead a formidable team of Technical Leads and Developers.
Proactive approach and leadership in Technical & functional discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Ability to fluently prepare, publish, and present status reports to senior management.
