Position Overview

We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial, pipeline-driven Channel Director (West) to lead the structural formalization, scaling, and operational execution of the company’s channel and alliances ecosystem. In this high-trust strategic leadership seat within our core Account Executive division, you will take absolute technical ownership of strengthening, expanding, and managing national integrator alliances and regional Value-Added Reseller (VAR) networks. Acting as an essential hybrid program builder and pipeline operator, you will author tiered engagement guidelines, construct onboarding frameworks, and coordinate cross-functionally across internal Sales, Marketing, and Vendor Alliances teams to turn strategic partners into automated sources of large-scale cybersecurity services engagements. This position demands a seasoned business development professional who brings deep historical familiarity with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) ecosystems and data-driven revenue attribution tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Program Model Formalization: Design, establish, and program a structured tiered partner program model, creating clear engagement frameworks covering rules of engagement, deal registration, referral-vs-resale criteria, and custom services definitions.
  • National Partner Development: Deepen executive relationship alignments and implement top-tier account mapping architectures across major enterprise accounts with primary national partners, including WWT and GuidePoint Security.
  • Regional VAR Activation: Reintroduce specialized services capabilities, manage refresh campaigns, and activate regional security partners and value-added resellers such as Defy Security, Evotek, and Technologent.
  • Sales Enablement & Field Training: Build, publish, and deliver specialized micro playbooks, positioning guides, and enablement curriculums to equip partner sales cells with the technical knowledge to position our managed security lines.
  • Joint Pipeline Ingestion: Own, monitor, and scale joint opportunity identification loops and partner-led marketing campaigns to generate consistent partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline growth.
  • Operational Governance & Metrics: Conduct structured Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), construct partner scorecards, track joint account planning sessions, and manage precise database attribution tracking for revenue conversion and seller participation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4–8+ years of verified professional history running channel programs, partner management, or technical business development pipelines specifically within a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environment.
  • Direct operational exposure offering specialized enterprise cybersecurity services, including Penetration Testing, Managed Detection and Response (MDR), SOC as a Service, and Security Engineering solutions.
  • Demonstrated background building channel frameworks from early-stage development up to repeatable high-throughput enterprise sales execution.
  • Proven capacity to develop executive-level stakeholder relationships and conduct multi-threaded account mapping sessions across complex corporate networks.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with a proven track record of authoring clear channel program guides, training curriculums, and strategic presentation slides.
  • Location Context: 100% remote-first full-time operational framework tailored for qualified channel directors permanently located anywhere within the United States, with optimized western regional fields centered around Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, and San Francisco, CA.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Existing executive-level professional connections or established partner tracking history alongside decision-makers at WWT, GuidePoint Security, or major regional VARs.
  • Familiarity navigating or configuring opportunity pipelines inside modern partner portals or cloud-based CRM database tracking applications.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation Matrix: A broad, highly competitive annual base salary range of $130,000 – $180,000 USD, tailored transparently to evaluate your localized market node, specialized security certifications, and channel track record.
  • The exceptional commercial canvas to completely draft, pilot, and take full corporate ownership of the channel framework for a premier cybersecurity operations engine.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters providing excellent scheduling autonomy and geographical independence across the United States.
  • A highly collaborative, practitioner-led engineering environment that rejects rigid bureaucracy, honors unique approaches, and rewards direct revenue impact.
