Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded Business Systems Engineer to join our core IT Engineering team in a full-time remote capacity within the United States. In this technically diverse integration seat, you will own, optimize, and cross-connect our rapidly growing portfolio of mission-critical business applications, serving as the principal technology partner for Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Revenue Operations stakeholders. Moving far beyond abstract layout edits, you will take full individual accountability for custom coding, database schema alignments, and system automation rules to translate complex user intent into scalable, low-latency microservices. This role demands a proactive, go-getter developer who can handle rigid version control frameworks, troubleshoot API routing errors, and experiment aggressively with emerging AI tools to maximize internal platform productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Custom Development: Architect, code, and deploy custom components, trigger layers, and data validation rules natively leveraging Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Multi-App Ecosystem Integration: Build, manage, and bridge data schemas and API webhooks across an expansive business systems portfolio, covering Salesforce, Ironclad, Outreach, Gong, ChurnZero, and OwnBackup.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Implement, scale, and audit public-facing or internal company instances leveraging Salesforce Sites, Force.com infrastructure, and unified Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud portals.
  • Automation Flow Engineering: Configure complex business rules, custom workflows, relational database objects, calculated fields, formula layers, and multi-tier approval processes through advanced Salesforce Flows.
  • AI Operational Innovation: Evaluate and deploy artificial intelligence configurations—utilizing ticketing automation systems like Harmony AI, Agentforce, or Einstein Analytics—to streamline background operational queues.
  • Platform Tooling Experimentation: Test and scale modern business systems automation, deployment monitors, and intelligence tools leveraging advanced discovery runtimes including Hubbl and Swantide.
  • CI/CD Release Governance: Manage day-to-day compilation steps, version control pushes, environment branch merging, and routine Salesforce metadata upgrades through integrated deployment pipelines.
  • Technical Requirement modeling: Partner with cross-functional revenue ops teams to analyze structural process requirements, outline functional test use cases, and generate regression testing scripts.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated professional history operating as a Salesforce Developer, Business Systems Analyst, Full-Stack Engineer, or Internal Tools Developer inside high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Deep, authoritative functional understanding of the Salesforce cloud platform, including extensive custom development backgrounds.
  • Hands-on operational experience managing third-party system integrations, webhook mappings, and complex REST/SOAP API connections.
  • Strong technical literacy managing core codebase health, repository merging rules, and automated testing scenarios.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication mechanics, with a proven history translating complex revenue operations goals into resilient tech requirements.
  • Location Context: Full-time remote-first operational parameters open exclusively to qualified systems engineers based permanently anywhere within the United States.

Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)

  • Prior professional experience building tools or optimizing data loops natively for Revenue Operations, Salesforce CPQ billing engines, or Customer Success matrices.
  • Practical familiarity managing Salesforce-centric CI/CD pipelines utilizing automated delivery managers such as Copado, Gearset, or SFDX commands.
  • Exposure to intelligence platforms or agile project environments characterized by fluid, rapidly expanding user hierarchies.

What We Offer

  • Transparent & Equitable Compensation: A market-competitive annual base salary range of $90,000 – $130,000 USD, supplemented by an annual targeted cash performance bonus scheme.
  • The exceptional tech runway to program, own, and optimize the automated core business infrastructure powering thousands of client transactions daily.
  • Profound work-from-home remote parameters providing an award-winning culture, complete geographic freedom inside the US, and an open-door engineering workspace.
  • Year-Round Summer Fridays: Enjoy excellent work-life balance parameters with company-sponsored early weekend starts available all year long.
  • Elite corporate benefits packages encompassing 100% free comprehensive healthcare networks (including built-in vision and dental coverages), a generous 401(k) company matching infrastructure, flexible paid time-off allocations, extended paid family leaves, and direct Snappy gift rewards for employee milestone achievements.
