Company Background
Censys’ mission is to be the one place to understand everything on the internet. Frustrated by the lack of trustworthy Internet intelligence, we set out to create the industry’s most comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date map of the Internet. Today, Censys delivers real-time Internet intelligence and actionable threat insights to global governments, over 50% of the Fortune 500, and leading threat intelligence providers worldwide.
Censys is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to own and optimize our internal systems ecosystem—ensuring our tools are integrated, adopted, and driving real business value.
This role sits at the intersection of systems, operations, and emerging AI capabilities. You will evaluate how our tools work together across the company (Sales, Marketing, Product, People, Finance), eliminate redundancies, improve workflows, and unlock efficiency through better integrations and intelligent automation.
In this role, you will act as a systems optimizer and operator, constantly identifying opportunities to simplify, connect, and enhance how work gets done.
What You Will Do
- Audit and continuously evaluate the company’s systems landscape to identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies
- Define and maintain a clear systems architecture, ensuring tools are purpose-built and not duplicative
- Drive consolidation and rationalization of tools where appropriate
- Optimize internal integrations and bidirectional capabilities of those integrations
- Work with tool owners to improve data integrity, consistency, accessibility and reporting across platforms
- Drive end-user adoption of key systems through training, documentation, and process improvements
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure tools are configured to match real workflows, not vice versa
- Monitor usage and identify opportunities to improve engagement and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities within existing tools (e.g., CRM, ATS, support systems, internal platforms)
- Evaluate and pilot new AI-driven tools or features that improve productivity and decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed AI into day-to-day workflows in a practical, scalable way
Who You Are
- 7+ years of experience in business systems, operations, or IT roles
- Strong experience with leading SaaS tools and systems ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Greenhouse, Rippling, Zendesk, etc.)
- Proven track record of improving workflows, integrating systems, and driving tool adoption
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Tray, or similar)
- Familiarity with AI capabilities in modern SaaS tools and curiosity to explore new applications
- Highly analytical and systems-oriented—able to see how pieces connect across the organization
- Strong communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Bias toward action—focused on solving problems, not just identifying them
What Success Looks Like
- Systems are streamlined, integrated, and clearly owned
- Redundant tools are eliminated and costs are optimized
- Data flows seamlessly across systems with high integrity
- Teams are actively using and benefiting from core tools
- AI capabilities are thoughtfully embedded into workflows, driving measurable efficiency gains

Censys
View Company ProfileCensys is a premier, enterprise-grade attack surface management and threat intelligence powerhouse engineered to orchestrate massive-scale internet scanning pipelines and intelligent, continuous asset discovery platforms. Operating as a trailblazer in outside-in digital risk monitoring, the company eliminates the operational friction of shadow IT and unmonitored infrastructure—which frequently suffers from rogue cloud deployments, exposed database ports, and unpatched perimeter vulnerabilities—by seamlessly deploying dynamic internet-wide telemetry, automated device fingerprinting, and global port probing. Moving beyond point-in-time security audits and reactive exposure logging, Censys empowers SecOps teams, threat researchers, and Fortune 500 enterprises to dynamically surface, contextualize, and remediate unknown internet-facing assets with elite, scalable, and audit-ready precision. Under the hood, its sophisticated proprietary operational infrastructure—bolstered by its high-performance ZMap network scanning heritage, real-time certificate graph mapping, and threat hunting search APIs—natively manages global IPv4/IPv6 address monitoring, host configuration analysis, and cloud asset mapping workflows, providing the necessary foundation for proactive cybersecurity defense. What sets Censys apart is its uncompromising dedication to comprehensive raw visibility; by bridging the gap between raw global internet telemetry and actionable enterprise threat intelligence, the organization enables security leaders to radically reduce external attack surfaces, neutralize critical exposures before exploitation, and build an unassailable foundation for global digital risk management.
