Job Description
About the Role: MinIO is the industry leader in high-performance object storage, powering production infrastructure for more than half of the Fortune 500. We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to develop outbound sales strategies, navigate sales opportunities, and foster long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
What You'll Do
- Leverage MinIO's intelligence systems to identify potential prospects and generate leads.
- Develop strategies to convert existing open-source users into commercial enterprise customers.
- Craft creative, personalized email sequences to articulate value and secure meetings.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize technology tools like SFDC, Hubspot, and Outreach to track interactions and conversions.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in the software industry, focusing on data infrastructure SaaS solutions.
- Outstanding writing and phone communication skills to engage and persuade executives.
- A highly creative approach to sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proficiency in email sequencing and digital communication platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Software, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
