What You'll Do

Run outbound prospecting into MSK practices — orthopedics, spine, pain management, physiatry, and physical therapy — across email, phone, and LinkedIn.

  • Research target accounts to understand practice size, specialty mix, EMR, provider count, and likely pain points before you ever reach out.
  • Write and personalize outbound sequences that speak to a practice administrator's actual problems, not a generic value prop.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls and hold real conversations with gatekeepers, office managers, practice administrators, and physician-owners.
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing, events, and referrals against our ICP criteria.
  • Book qualified meetings for Account Executives and brief them thoroughly enough that they walk in prepared.
  • Keep CRM data clean and current — activity, notes, next steps, disposition. Pipeline hygiene is part of the job, not an afterthought.
  • Feed what you're hearing in the market back to sales, marketing, and product: objections, competitive mentions, messaging that lands and messaging that doesn't.
  • Hit and exceed monthly targets for qualified meetings booked and opportunities created.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 1+ year of professional experience. This can be your first sales role — we care more about drive and coachability than a resume line.
  • Comfort with the phone. A meaningful share of this job is picking it up and calling someone who wasn't expecting you.
  • Clear, concise written communication. You can write an email that a busy practice administrator will actually read.
  • Genuine curiosity about how businesses work — you want to understand a practice's economics, not just recite features.
  • Resilience and a short memory for rejection. Most outreach doesn't convert; the best BDRs don't slow down.
  • Organization and self-direction. This role is remote, and nobody will be watching your calendar for you.
  • Willingness to be coached in public — on call reviews, in pipeline reviews, in real time.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to healthcare, medical practices, revenue cycle management, or health tech.
  • Experience with a CRM and sales engagement tooling (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar).
  • Prior SDR/BDR internship, campus sales program, or commission-based work of any kind.
  • Comfort with AI tools as part of a daily workflow.

Our values

This is what you can expect of your teammates at Flagler:

  • Persistence + ownership of outcomes: We wear many hats and aren’t afraid to run through walls to solve hard problems.
  • Personal + professional growth: We push ourselves to learn new things and embrace challenges, even if it means that we sometimes fail.
  • Don’t take things personally: We value and react quickly to constructive feedback.
  • Speed is our ally: In the fast-paced world of startups, we understand the value of moving swiftly. We thrive on the adrenaline of working rapidly.
  • Be Right: We are highly detailed oriented and try to be right, a lot.

Flagler Health is an AI-driven healthcare technology platform built to fix the massive administrative bottlenecks that burn out physicians. Founded by a team who saw firsthand how fragmented workflows and terrible Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) hurt patient care, Flagler acts as a clinic's intelligent, invisible backend engine. Their AI seamlessly integrates directly into a medical practice's existing systems to automate patient triage, handle tedious prior authorizations, and run remote care management. Instead of medical staff wasting hours on hold with insurance companies or letting high-value procedure candidates slip through the cracks, Flagler’s platform identifies exactly what patients need, gets it approved, and schedules it automatically.
