Azure Cloud Architect

About the Role: Netguru is a trusted partner in digital commerce, empowering businesses with cutting-edge technology. We are looking for an Azure Cloud Architect for a freelance/contract role to design and implement Azure-based cloud infrastructure for a microservices architecture, focusing on scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement Azure-based cloud infrastructure for a microservices architecture.
• Deploy and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters using Helm Charts and FluxCD to ensure reliable delivery.
• Build and enhance monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using Application Gateway, Azure Front Door, App Service, Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ensure security best practices across the cloud infrastructure.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Active Directory, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, API Management).
• Strong background in cloud architecture design, including scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure Bicep) and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Bonus: Knowledge of cloud security practices, monitoring tools, scripting (Bash), and networking fundamentals.
