About the Job
Join our team as the next AV and Events Engineer L4. In this strategic position, you will support Twilions globally with their advanced audiovisual and multi-channel remote event needs. You will manage bleeding-edge AV architecture, coordinate executive-level industry conferences, and provide critical mentorship to expand the capabilities of our global End User Computing and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- System Deployment: Design, configure, and deploy complex corporate AV systems, including audio/video conferencing hardware, specialized directional microphones, integrated displays, and centralized control fabrics.
- Event Production: Support remote, hybrid, and high-profile executive events end-to-end—overseeing setup configurations, signal testing, and live execution to guarantee premium audio and visual deliverables.
- Executive Advisory: Act as the primary technical interface for executives and enterprise presenters during industry conferences and high-stakes virtual town halls.
- Infrastructure Lifecycle: Run system maintenance protocols, perform firmware upgrades, manage equipment assets, and handle advanced room troubleshooting for local hardware manufacturers.
- Vendor Management: Partner closely with event planners, external vendors, and product engineers to map out technical capabilities and navigate structural streaming limitations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Technology, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical work experience).
- 8+ years of experience navigating enterprise AV/Events software platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong, provable mastery over conference room signal flows and automated control setups.
- Hands-on familiarity with standard industry hardware setups (Crestron, Extron, Neat, Logitech, Shure, QSC, Biamp).
- Required Certifications: Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) OR Extron AV Associate, along with AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist foundations (CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I).
- Strong operational understanding of Mac OS and Windows OS environments for remote end-user troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 frameworks or Google Workplace certification structures.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours outside standard blocks to accommodate live event demands and commit to approximately 15% business travel.
- Nice to Have: Experience tracking tickets via ServiceNow and active Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) credentials.
