Role & Responsibilities:

• • Strong hands-on expertise in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications
• • Deep understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and ability to define end-to-end automation strategy for enterprise-scale applications
• • Drive adoption of AI-powered testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI-based test generation/self-healing platforms) to improve testing speed and coverage
• • Design and implement scalable, reusable automation scripts using Playwright/Selenium with Python or Java
• • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for continuous testing
• • Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end automated testing across multiple application streams
• • Analyze test results, debug failures, and collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to resolve defects
• • Prepare and maintain test metrics, automation coverage reports, and dashboards for stakeholder visibility
• • Explore and prototype AI/ML-driven testing use cases (e.g., predictive test selection, anomaly detection, intelligent test data generation)

Must Have:

• • 4–5 years of experience in software test automation, with at least 2–3 years working with AI-augmented testing tools
• • Strong programming/scripting skills in Python and/or Java
• • Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Selenium, Postman, and cloud testing platforms (LambdaTest/BrowserStack)
• • Working knowledge of AI Copilot tools and experience applying them within a testing/QA context
• • Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (REST Assured, Postman, Swagger)
• • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools and version control (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• • Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:
Some work experience in ORPOS (Oracle tool), Retail Domain, Digital Testing
Python/Java Scripting/Selenium/Playwright
