Mission: Anima is a healthcare tech company focused on personalised medicine, serving 20% of the UK population across 1,100+ clinics and solving 5.7 million patient cases in the past year, saving an estimated 8,600 lives. We are cash flow positive with a ~35-person team and aim to be among the most impactful companies in healthcare.
We are seeking a hands-on individual contributor to build the Assurance function, ensuring NHS organisations trust Anima’s handling of patient data, risk management, and safe care delivery.
Who You Are:
Regulatory or compliance experience in sectors like insurance, financial services, healthcare, or consulting. Healthcare or NHS experience is not required but must be quickly learned.
Curiosity about product workflows: Willing to dive into data flows, integrations, and AI model governance, ask insightful questions, and explain findings clearly.
Pragmatic judgment: Translates requirements into actionable processes, ensuring solutions are proportionate to the problem.
Confidence in customer-facing roles: Can articulate complex issues simply and credibly address challenging questions.
System builder: Turns fragmented work into reliable, scalable processes.
What You’ll Do:
Own customer assurance from inquiry to resolution, handling tasks like DPIA support packs and security questionnaires. Lead conversations and collaborate with the Data Protection Officer on specialized queries.
Become fluent in our products, developing technical understanding to answer routine assurance questions independently. Partner with Product and Engineering for complex issues.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring it reflects product operations and coordinating with the Clinical Safety Officer for clinical safety updates.
Build self-serve systems, including a knowledge base, standard answers, and onboarding packs. Create a system for tracking customer agreements, terms, and review dates. Use metrics like response times and backlog to identify improvement opportunities.
Influence product launches by addressing assurance requirements pre-launch and using customer feedback to identify gaps.
Represent Anima in customer conversations, resolving concerns and making informed decisions. Opportunity to present assurance work at industry events.
Coordinate incident follow-ups, ensuring organized communications, records, and lessons learned improve documentation and processes.
Success means customers receive clear, reliable answers, teams spend less time resolving repetitive questions, and assurance is always ready for customer or product launches.
