Associate Principal - Security

About the Role: TEECOM is looking for an Associate Principal - Security. This is a mid-level engineering role responsible for leading small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects with growing independence. You will guide projects from programming through closeout, ensuring deliverables meet quality and constructability standards in physical and electronic security.

What You'll Do

• Deliver coordinated discipline designs including layouts, calculations, and specifications.
• Lead technical design reviews that reinforce TEECOM standards and identify coordination risks early.
• Mentor Designers and engineers, providing hands-on guidance and feedback.
• Contribute to discipline standards, workflows, and tools through targeted Pull Requests on GitHub.
• Cultivate strong client relationships through clear communication and thoughtful problem-solving.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services with discipline-specific capability (Physical Security, Electronic Security, ICT).
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit), Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, and GitHub.
• Industry certifications such as PSP, CPP, PEng, or PMP are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project delivery workflows and cross-discipline coordination.
