Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detailed, analytical, and process-oriented Associate Media Planner to join our core planning division supporting a modern, fast-growing Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising platform vertical under a permanent, full-time remote footprint open across the United States (with physical agency collaboration cells in New York, NY). In this high-agency marketing operations seat, you will act as a centralized media strategy link—owning end-to-end campaign planning, audience analytics, and vendor inventory negotiation support. Shifting completely away from routine non-regulated administrative data transcription loops, entry-level web template edits, or standalone customer service helpdesk logs, you will operate an active high-velocity media budget allocation, geometric audience mapping, and campaign attribution telemetry laboratory. Partnering cross-functionally alongside distributed Account Managers, client marketing leads, and creative teams, you will turn consumer demographic habit research into polished, high-performing media proposals. This position requires a marketing professional with 1–3 years of OOH or broader media planning history who guides campaign timelines fluidly natively using SEO, Lead Generation, and Research primitives, commands complete comfort within modern data analytics tools, and fulfills uncompromised execution during fixed shifts aligned to US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Campaign Planning Governance: Support the structural execution of out-of-home media strategies, directing variables from initial market selection through final presentation concept layouts natively utilizing SEO audience metrics.
- Media Infrastructure & Proposal Scaffolding: Build, calibrate, and maintain multi-tiered campaign plans, comprehensive media cost schedules, and historical target performance summaries using advanced internal planning systems.
- Audience Telemetry & Habit Research: Investigate target consumer characteristics, behavior trends, and media consumption habits, cleaning complex market statistics natively deploying Research verification methods.
- Platform Optimization Mastery: Become an absolute power user of our client’s cloud-native programmatic planning application, capturing operational patterns to surface actionable product engineering feedback to senior technical staff.
- Vendor Relationship & Inventory Management: Manage primary pipelines with regional OOH media vendors, supporting high-stakes placement availability sourcing and price negotiations under the guidance of senior directors.
- Cross-Functional Project Synchronization: Collaborate close-knit next to Account Managers, product architects, and client stakeholders to align multi-format visuals with overarching commercial campaign goals.
- Multi-Campaign Pipeline Triage: Juggle diverse variables across multiple active marketing campaigns simultaneously, ensuring error-free data synchronization and hitting tight internal delivery deadlines natively leveraging Lead Generation tools.
- Multi-Channel Attribution Consultation: Analyze digital and physical media interaction data to evaluate geographic impact metrics across traditional billboards, transit nodes, experiential placements, and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) layers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 1–3 years of proven, successful professional technology experience operating as an Associate Media Planner, OOH Media Coordinator, Digital Advertising Analyst, Growth Marketing Specialist, or closely matching tech-enabled campaign management capacity.
- Foundational Media Domain Command: Verifiable working familiarity with core out-of-home advertising formats (including billboards, transit hubs, experiential pop-ups, and DOOH) and how they intersect within a wider multi-channel marketing mix.
- Practical operational literacy utilizing modern audience validation, tracking metrics, and search engine telemetry suites (specifically GeoPath, Nielsen datasets, Google Analytics, or closely matching analytics software).
- Complete production-grade proficiency manipulating numeric arrays, structuring budget sheets, and compiling data templates natively within Spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and web-based planning platform layouts.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and textual presentation communication strengths in English, with an established background delivering scannable campaign briefs and data-backed rationale across internal channels.
- Shift & Location Context: Position operates under highly flexible remote guidelines open to qualified media and growth authorities residing permanently within the United States, with uncompromised operational capacity to fulfill fixed schedules synchronized to US Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Preferred Strategic Indicators (Nice to Have)
- Prior platform or agency background managing media buys specifically for high-growth venture-backed software brands, technical direct-to-consumer networks, or vertical B2B enterprise marketing hubs.
- Direct operational familiarity with advanced marketing mix modeling, geofencing telemetry variables, or modern omni-channel attribution methodologies (digital + OOH blends).
- An analytically curious, high-agency persona characterized by a tenacious focus on data trends, an excellent eye for performance metrics, and a passion for managing campaigns with minimal hand-holding.
What We Offer
- Competitive US Marketing and Media Industry Remuneration Matrix: A steady, competitive hourly compensation grid of USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 per hour calibrated precisely to your planning pedigree and spreadsheet modeling velocity.
- 100% remote workspace infrastructure autonomy open throughout the United States, allowing you premium lifestyle flexibility and absolute freedom from physical office commuting blocks.
- Macro Scale Advertising Footprint: Elite professional growth credentials achieved by single-handedly architecting the primary placement budgets, audience maps, and proposal layouts defining how modern brands scale out-of-home campaigns globally.
- Access to a legendary company culture named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list—featuring an open, low-bureaucracy engineering model, direct access to cutting-edge AI-augmented pre-sales innovations, and an environment that views human talent as the absolute center of every data-driven strategy.
