Ascendancy - Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role: Ascendancy is building the future of relationship-driven growth by combining AI with a high-touch, operator-led approach. We're looking for a full-time Full-Stack Engineer to own and build product features end-to-end—from scoping and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment using Python, Next.js, and TypeScript.

What You'll Do

• Work across the stack to develop high-quality, user-facing applications with a strong focus on performance, security, and clean design.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to shape the user experience and underlying systems.
• Contribute to AI-driven features, including LLM workflows and agents.
• Take full ownership of projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Design secure authentication, authorization, and database systems.

What You Bring

• Full-stack engineering experience across frontend and backend systems (Strong proficiency with Python, Next.js, and TypeScript).
• Startup experience; comfortable building quickly in fast-moving environments and owning projects end-to-end.
• Experience building or integrating AI agents, LLM workflows, or AI-enabled products.
• Strong product sense with a good eye for UX/UI design quality.
• Bonus: Experience with Neo4j, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), integrating third-party APIs, and automation workflows.
