Role Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Associate based in India to join our growing Accounting Team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a critical role in managing transactional verification layers, reconciling open statements, resolving operational purchase discrepancies, and securing high-integrity ledger entries within NetSuite platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice & Payment Processing: Verify, match, and systematically approve incoming invoices against company parameters to authorize accurate, timely payouts.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Actively audit inconsistencies across invoices, purchase orders (POs), and warehouse item receipts alongside vendors and internal departments.
- Credit Lifecycle Management: Track, calculate, and apply vendor credit memos for returns, balance adjustments, and product warranties.
- Ledger Management: Input transactional metadata directly into NetSuite ERP, maintaining absolute data integrity and localized tax adherence rules.
- Vendor Auditing: Conduct routine monthly reconciliations of vendor financial statements to uncover outstanding items or ledger leaks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or international equivalent technical setup.
- 0–2 years of experience managing core Accounts Payable operations or data-heavy billing ledgers.
- Advanced English Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication mechanics to interface seamlessly with international vendors and managers.
- Solid data entry skills combined with deep attention to detail regarding transactional numbers.
- Schedule Alignment: Absolute capacity to work a full-time block matching 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. US Eastern Time (EST), Monday through Friday.
- Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration; prior system usage of NetSuite platforms.
