Account Director

About the Role: Cognition is an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents, including Devin, the first AI software engineer. As an Account Director, you will be responsible for sourcing, closing, and activating enterprise customers, acting as a crucial contributor to Cognition's revenue growth and Devin's development.

What You'll Do

• Drive revenue for Cognition by owning the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through close and activation for early-stage to enterprise companies.
• Navigate layered customer organizations, working directly with C-suite executives, Tech and AI leaders, procurement, and legal stakeholders.
• Deeply understand technical pain points and qualify the best use cases to deploy Devin to large technology organizations.
• Discover new use cases in customers' Tech organizations and provide critical product feedback to the engineering and product teams.

What You Bring

• Track record of success selling deeply technical products to enterprise customers.
• Technical experience—either as a software engineer, sales engineer, or forward-deployed engineer—or an exceptional ability to learn complex technical concepts.
• Experience successfully sourcing and closing large, complex enterprise software deals.
• A highly ambitious, competitive mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-intensity environments.
