10x Software Engineer

About the Role: Lucidya is a leading AI-powered Customer Experience Management (CXM) platform in the MENA region. As a 10x Software Engineer, you will help rebuild parts of the platform to achieve extreme reliability, high-scale distributed processing, and an AI-native architecture. We operate with extreme ownership—if something is failing, you fix it, even if it is not your job.

What You'll Do

• Design and operate high-throughput, event-driven pipelines across a 100+ microservice ecosystem handling billions of data points.
• Build and scale distributed messaging systems with RabbitMQ, managing backpressure and consumer scaling.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues (deadlocks, queue exhaustion) and eliminate root causes.
• Optimize PostgreSQL for heavy write workloads and tune Elasticsearch for real-time relevance.
• Build and maintain observability using Grafana, Loki, and distributed tracing.
• Contribute to Kubernetes migration, infrastructure modernization, and CI/CD pipelines.

What You Bring

• Strong foundation in distributed systems with hands-on experience in event-driven architecture and message queues.
• Deep comfort with concurrency, backpressure, and fault tolerance.
• Experience with Rails or Python backends at a meaningful scale.
• Track record of debugging complex production issues and preventing them.
• A mindset of extreme ownership, shipping fast without breaking things, and treating documentation and observability as defaults.
