Founded in 2015 by Romain Moulin and headquartered in Lille, France, Exotec addresses the inefficiencies of traditional warehouse logistics with its flagship Skypod System, a scalable and responsive goods-to-person robotic solution. Under the hood, the system combines advanced robotics, AI, and machine learning to automate inventory retrieval and order preparation. This allows global retail brands, including Carrefour, Decathlon, Gap, and Uniqlo, to achieve faster, smarter, and more efficient fulfillment. Backed by a $335 million Series D funding round in January 2022, with participation from four investors, Exotec has rapidly expanded its global footprint, tripling its revenue since 2020 and deploying its 3,000th robot.
